Natasha Kane

The Adrian Berserker scenario had brought about an abrupt end to the preliminary exams. The parents, guardians, and relatives of the students were asked to leave the arena in an orderly manner, as ordered by the school council, there were to be directed to a different section of the school where they were allowed to relate with their 'kids'.

"Excuse me Sir!!" A man in a security uniform held James by the hand, stopping him and Natasha from exiting the arena like other persons did.

"How may I help you?" James asked in a cautious yet neutral tone.

"My boss wants to see you sir." The man replied.

"And who exactly is your boss and why does he want to see me?" James furrowed his eyebrows, the tension between both men soaring by the second

"Please pardon my manner of approach." The man in the security uniform smiled in an unnatural way, giving James and Natasha the creeps.

"Let me rephrase my statement. Mr Winston, the principal wishes to see you."

"You should have said so earlier on, I would not have hesitated." James replied with a smile of his own.

"Go on Natasha, I'll join you later." James said to his wife.

"She can come with us sir! It's about your son so I think she is entitled to come." The guard spoke honestly.

'Oh great!!!' James muttered in his head.

'I hope she doesn't cause a scene.' James sighed, following the guard who led the way.

They went through a series of turns before finally arriving at the principal's office. The door to the office was as plain as plain could be, the exterior wasn't as  exquisite as one would have thought for someone of his status.

"You may come in Mr and Mrs Kane."Mr Winston said, before they could even knock on the door.

*Creak!!*

The door to the office opened with a  nudge from the guard.

Both James and Natasha entered into the office which was as unimpressive as it's exterior.

The room had a plain white colour running from top to bottom, the all black furniture had a vivid contrast to the colour of the wall. The office had no decorative items in it, just a white coloured wall and a couple of black coloured furniture.

Natasha and James each took a seat for themselves, while the principal sat at the opposite side of the giant office table which was between both parties.

"You may leave." The principal signaled the guard who stood at the entrance of the office.

"Yes sir!!" The guard saluted before shutting the door to the office, leaving the principal and his guests.

"So Mr and Mrs Kane, it's nice to finally meet you two." Mr Winston said in a neutral tone.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr Winston." James replied, stretching out his hand for a shake.

"The pleasure is all mine." Mr Winston shook his hand.

"Why did you call us here! It was surely not for pleasantries right??" Natasha blurted out, throwing away all caution.

"That's right, How about a drink to ease the tension ma'am before we discuss the main issue. We aren't enemies after all." Mr Winston laughed awkwardly.

"A drink would be nice." James joined in on the awkward laughter.

"There would be no drinks until I see my boy." Natasha roared at both men.

"Honey just take a chill pill a drink wouldn't hurt." James placed his hands on her shoulder.

"A drink might not hurt you, but I will!" Natasha threatened.

"Ma'am you would do well to understand you are still in my office and  as such, you will need to show some decorum." Mr Winston released his killing intent, with an awkward smile still plastered  on his face.

The office items trembled, the very foundation of the office

itself trembled at the massive intent Mr Winston released.

'Ah shit! shit! We're done for, we've totally pissed him of.' James screamed in his head.

"Awwnn how cute." She chuckled, startling both men.

"Do you think your measly nonsense would scare me? What a joke!" Natasha slammed her hand on his table, slicing it cleanly in half.

"Call him here or you would be in the same condition as this table" She threatened.

Mr Winston's eyes widened in disbelief. The woman before him was just a mere C-rank and she seemed unfazed by his killing intent, a killing intent generated by an S-rank military  general such as himself was called cute by  a woman who was supposed to tremble at his might,  A direct blow to his dignity.

Mr Winston's pride was hurt, but his body instinctively stopped him from reacting. Every natural built in alarm in him, warned him of the woman before him, his palms grew sweaty without him even realising.

"As for you!" Natasha grabbed James by the ear, twisting it to an inhuman angle.

"Do you still think a drink wouldn't hurt??" She squinted her eyes, her sharp gaze capable of piercing to the bone marrow.

"N-o-o-o I mean yes yes yes yes" James screamed like a child.

"That's nice to hear honey." Natasha let go of his ear, her mood switching instantly.

She then turned to the principal, who was subconsciously sweating.

"So what is  gonna be?" She looked into the eyes of the principal, her every action devoid of fear.

"I'll do, do just that." He stuttered.

"Very well. I and my husband would be waiting outside, your office is quite unimpressive. My eyes are bleeding from just looking at it.

Let's go James!" She concluded.

"I think I'll rather stay in here, it's not as bad as you say." James said with his usual awkward giggle accompanying it.

"You are coming with me now!!!!!" Her domineering glare sent shivers down James's spine.

"Make sure you send for him, and don't keep us waiting." Natasha smiled, before dragging James out of the office.

'What a terrifying woman.' Mr Winston shrugged.
