Trojan Horse

Leo, Flynn, Mr Winston, Mrs Anna and others members of the council had gathered together in the council's meeting room to strategize their defensive plans.

*Knock!-knock!*

A knock on the room's door interrupted their discussion.

"Who is it??" Mr Winston asked.

"It is me again! Lieutenant Jones sir!"

"Come in!" Mr Winston said.

Opening the door,  the glares he received from those present in the room made him shudder. He even subconsciously swallowed his saliva on recognising most of the faces present.

'Aren't our assailants just three persons according to the report we got? Then, what the hell are these monsters doing here?'  Jones screamed in his head.

"What exactly is it this time?" Mr Winston raised a brow.

"C-c-captain Duke, one of those charged with the responsibility of  protecting one of the buses was found unconscious and badly injured a few meters from the  academy Sir!"

"And??"

"We took him to the clinic sir."

"Very good. Make sure the best nurses we can spare handle his situation, we want him awake as soon as possible!" Mr Winston concluded.

After a quick salute, Lieutenant Jones turned around and hurriedly left the room.

*Hahh!!!*

Lieutenant Jones heaved a sigh of relief immediately he exited the room. He was almost on the verge of peeing his pants. The pressure exuded in that room made it difficult for him to retain his consciousness and  even his breathing had accelerated without him even realising.

Back in the room, they continued their discussion and concluded after voicing out a few words.

With nothing left to discuss, they all exited the room, heading to their various duty posts.

Miss Anna, Nurse Joan and Mr Leo left the room together in a group while some others like Mr Azar left alone.

"It's quite suspicious don't you think?" Mr Leo initiated the conversation. His hands were behind his head as always, coupled with usual aloof demeanor.

"I agree!" Nurse Joan added.

"Well, it is suspicious but let's not jump to any conclusions yet. Let's give him the benefit of .....

*Booom!!* A loud explosion reverberated across the entire academy cutting their discussion short. A powerful shockwave travelled with thunderous sound as it shook every building to it's foundation, shattering the glasses.

"How did they?" Nurse Joan asked only to turn around and find no one beside her. Both Anna and Leo dashed to the source of the explosion as fast as their abilities could carry them.

Screams and wails echoed from the clinic as the nurses desperatly ran for their lives.

  ...A few minutes earlier, they had been treating Duke on the principal's orders, when  suddenly the space twisted and a portal appeared in Duke's ward from no where.

The Nurses taking care of Duke  were startled at first, but curiosity got the better side of them as the stood in anticipation, waiting for whatever was going to come out.

   Suddenly, a leg clad in black leggings  wearing ballet flats stepped out of the portal, before the entire body of the person followed.

Nefertiti was quite startled on seeing several staring eyes.

"Hi!" She greeted breaking the stares.

"Awwwnn!! She's so cute!" The nurses said in unison. Some even went as far as tugging her cheeks.

"What is your name little one and why did you come through that portal one of the nurses asked.

"My name is Nefertiti and I am here to kill all of you!" Nefertiti said as her cute smile turned into a sinister grin.

"Huh!" The nurse looked at her in confusion.

"What do you mean..." The nurse speaking suddenly  grabbed a surgical blade from the table and drove it into her own neck.

*Splurt! splurt!*

Blood gushed out of her neck like a water sprinkler.

The nurse present all rallied around her trying their best to stop the bleeding.

"Hahahahah!" Nefertiti laughed, sending chills down the spines of the nurses.

"Who is next?" She asked with a wide evil grin on her face.

  On hearing that, the nurses all dashed towards the door abandoning their dying companion.

Unfortunately for them, Nefertiti mind controlled all of them at once, causing them to halt their escape run.

As if under a spell, they turned around and started to walk towards one of the window's in the ward. Opening the glass of the window, they began to jump out one by one until everyone had jumped out.

*Pah! pah! Pah!*

Their bodies bursted into pieces on hitting the ground.

  "Hahahahah!" Falkore laughed wholeheartedly as he also stepped through the portal.

"It seems I was wrong about you." Falkore said as he wiped the tears of the corner of his eyes.

"You really do know how to catch some fun." He added.

"Did you have to do that?" Fang said as he also stepped out.

"Not really." Nefertiti chuckled.

"Awwwnn! nice job Dukey." Nefertiti said as she patted Duke's head

"Do we still need him?" Falkore asked.

"Yes we do. His ability is very handy." Fang replied.

"Let's get to work." He concluded.
