Chapter 48

Phil drove the boat for about three hours straight.

My father accompanied him throughout that moment, because I had laid down in a corner of the boat, on the floor, I had fallen asleep lying on my side using only my hands as a pillow because there were no blankets or pillows inside the ship boat that could have served me at that moment.

I had to lie down because in the few minutes that I was standing up, I felt that the movement of the waves was causing me dizziness, it was unbearable dizziness, for a moment, I felt that I even wanted to vomit from how bad I felt, my cheeks turned cold giving me to understand that perhaps my skin has become very paler than normal.

My father was worried when he saw me in that state, and so he suggested that he at least lay me down on the floor of the ship so that I could endure what I had to endure on the rest of the way.
