Face off With The Vortans

As the stars twinkled in the vast expanse of space, the tension between the Federation and the Vortans reached its zenith. The Ninety-Fifth fleet, comprised of battle-hardened starships from across the galaxy, had assembled in a strategic formation near the edge of the Küiper asteroid belt.

Admiral Collins stood on the command deck of the flagship of the NiNety Fifth Fleet of the Federation "Stellaris," his eyes fixed on the holographic display depicting the approaching Vortan fleet. The hum of activity was palpable as crew members worked swiftly at their stations, adjusting and calibrating weapons, and preparing for the impending battle.

As the two fleets closed in on each other, tension hung in the air. Sensor readings filled the command center, showing the immense Vortan fleet emerging from their hidden places in the asteroid like a swarm of metallic insects. The holographic display revealed their formation – a mix of sleek cruisers, heavily armored battleships, and nimble interceptors.

"Brace for impact!" came the call over the comms as the two fleets collided. Blasts of energy lit up the darkness of space, as proton beams and plasma torpedoes streaked through the void. ninety-fifth fleet's ships unleashed a barrage of firepower, their coordinated volleys creating brilliant cascades of explosions within the Vortan ranks.

On the bridge of the Vortans flagship, the commander's eyes gleamed with a mix of excitement and calculation. His fingers danced across a holographic console, issuing commands to his fleet. "Send in the Drakari swarm! Break their formation!"

From the Vortan fleet, a cluster of specialized ships detached and streaked toward the Federation's front line. These Drakari ships emitted disruptive energy waves, causing havoc within the tightly-knit Federation formation. The once-orderly array of starships began to splinter as vessels veered off course or lost power temporarily.

Admiral Collins's voice resounded over the comms, firm and unwavering. "Maintain formation! Counteract the disruption with harmonic shields."

The ninety-fifth fleet adapted swiftly, to neutralize the Drakari interference. With renewed determination, they unleashed a wave of counterattacks. Explosions illuminated the battlefield as the skirmish intensified.

As the battle raged on, a strategic dance unfolded. The Federation ships employed hit-and-fade tactics, darting in to deliver devastating blows and then retreating behind the protective screen of their comrades. The Vortans, however, responded with a sheer display of firepower, forcing the Federation fleet to maintain constant evasive maneuvers.

Amidst the chaos, the "Stellaris" and the Vortans flagship engaged in a high-stakes duel. Proton beams lanced across the void between the two colossal vessels. The battle had become a symphony of destruction, a dance of light and sound that echoed through the space.

At this moment, the battlefield has been divided into two. One is the right front of the Ninety-Fifth Fleet. Five squadrons currently have approximately 4,700 warships, against the 10,000 warships of the Vortans.

While the other is the main battlefield in the center. The main force of the Ninety-Fifth Fleet is 10,000 warships, and it is battling against the 18,000 Warships of the Vortans.

"Order the Assault Fleet to turn to Area B-589 and make a roundabout arc!"

"Roger that!"

The Assault Fleet received Admiral Collins's order and immediately diverted its course, and started arcing towards the direction of Area B-589.

This position is quite good. Why is it good? Because after the arc has passed, it will pass the 10,000 Warships ahead and go behind the escaping transport ship.

After discovering this situation, the Vortans Fleet Commander also immediately ordered the 10,000 Drakari ships on his left to turn around and catch up, biting the tail of the Federation fleet.

"Reporting, the 10,000 enemy ships in the direction of 010 have begun to turn, and they are biting the tail of the Assault Fleet. Once they are destroyed, the situation will become very bad."

Indeed, if Admiral Collins bites the tail of the 10,000 Warship, the Main Fleet led by the Vortans Commander would also turn and chase the tail of the Ninety-Fifth Fleet.

However, what the Commander did not expect was that the original 5000 warships that the Ninety-Fifth Fleet initially used for assault did not actually continue chasing after the fleeing transport ship in an arc detour, but instead continued to fly in an arc until they circled back and biting the tail of the Main Fleet of the Vortans.

Then a strange scene appeared. The battlefield formed a circle, and a total of 4 fleets on both sides were biting and chasing each other.

The Assault Fleet of the Ninety-Fifth Fleet has 5,000 warships and is chasing after the 18,000 Warships led by Cody.

The four Fleets chased each other and none wants to withdraw. That's because when they turn, they will inevitably expose their sides to the enemy Fleet behind them. In war, what does it mean to expose the sides of the Fleet? It means being freely bombarded by the enemy.

By maintaining this kind of war of attrition, the Ninety-Fifth Fleet will not lose immediately and it could be able to last for dozens of hours.

After all, the total number of Warships of the Ninety-Fifth Fleet is still almost half compared to the opponent's fleet, and they will eventually be wiped out by the opponent's Fleet. Even if they're not, dozens of hours later, the backup Fleet of the Vortans would already arrive on the battlefield. By then, the Ninety-Fifth Fleet would not be able to escape the fate of destruction.

Meanwhile, the transport ship NFF-609 hijacked by Gregory and the 500 Warships that were escorting him flew unimpeded in the direction of the Vortans' military base planet, Gaia.

"Fifth Prince, if I may, I want this woman!"

While speaking, Gregory pointed to Chen Xue who was still tied on the side.

"This woman? Okay, I'll give her to you!"

The Prince glanced at her and agreed without thinking about it much. After all, the appearance of human beings is inconsistent with the aesthetics of the Vortans.
