Chapter Four

"DDDDDDDDD, DJ"

"How, When did you get here" I said stuttering

"I came in when you were talking to those girls" He said

"Oh. But what are you doing here, do you need anything?" I asked him. He froze for a minute and said nothing, I was a bit worried "is it that he was not happy with what I said or did I say anything wrong?" I kept thinking. After a while, he said " thank you for standing up for Sam and my group, I really appreciate it." So I told him "it's nothing, I trust Sam, I know he wouldn't do something like that. "He looked at in awe and said "why do you trust Sam, why do you think he couldn't do something like that." I looked at him and said "because I know what it costed him to get to where he is today, what he had to go through, I know everything" DJ was so surprised he asked "what do you mean by that, have you met Sam before, do you know him personally."

When DJ asked me these questions, a lot was going through my mind, because the truth is, I have known Sam for a long time, I have known way before he became a singer. Sam has always been in love with music and have always wanted to be a singer, but he did not get the support he wanted from his parents. Sam's father was a drunkard while his mother was a workaholic, so non of them had time for him, whenever his father comes home drunk he would always abuse him physically and his mother would prevent not know about it, but that never stopped him for pursuing his dream. He would go to different audition behind his parents's back, until he was finally picked.

But I couldn't bring myself to tell DJ about this, because it wasn't my story to tell, instead I said "of course not, where do I want to know him from"

DJ kept looking at me suspiciously and asked "so why do really think he can't do something like that?" I said "because he doesn't look like he can do it, he looks so innocent do you think?" DJ looked at me and said "that might just be the funniest thing have heard today" and walked away. So I sighed in relief and asked him " what are you really doing here?"

He turned and looked at me, looking all anxious he said
