" Who are you?" She asked calmly as tears kept rolling down her cheeks.  Fear was evident in her voice. You don't need to know.  The deep voice said and before she could fathom what he was about to do. He stabbed her.  Avery was so shock as she felt the sharp piercing of the dagger thrust through her as blood flowed down her abdomen staining her pink dress. She fell to the ground as blood kept gushing out of her stabbed abdomen. James twisted the doorknob and entered inside only to see Avery on the floor. 
"I love you Avery.  I am sorry for maltreating you. James said as he hugged her tightly. Am sorry for realizing late. He said as he held the dying girl in his hand."

Once Avery was fine, she was discharged by the hospital. James came back as he helped Avery inside the car. While the driver drove Mrs Smith and Nina back home. As James was slowly driving,Avery turned to look at him. She turned to him;

For what? He asked as he kept driving making U turns.

"For Saving me". Avery said honestly.

James didn't say anything and kept on driving till they finally reached home. The pur white gate yawned opened as the car slowly drive inside. James parked the car in front of the mansion. He turned off the car engine and got down and ran to the other side to open the car door for her.

"Thank you". Avery smiled and was about to place her foot down but to her utmost surprise, James bent forward and carried like a princess shocking her more.
