A Sprout's Dilemma

As Midas entered the Black Gate yet again, this time fully expectant of what was about to happen, he took a step forward calmly, knowing that that was going to be his last step in that body for hopefully a while.

Midas had figured something out back there as he listened to all of them and thought about the story on the Tablet and the directive on the panel that they received when they came to the Blue room.

There was no secret to this Trial was what he figured out. It was the expectation of a secret that was going to mislead everyone and yet they had been told to merely live thrice and die thrice.

That was all they were told to do. And that was what he was going to do from then. To just live.

Midas figured it must be because he chose to immerse himself in his life that things went so well in his first life.
