Midas, ever the guiding spirit as the Elder Tree, observed with a mixture of pride and anticipation. In that last piece of advice, he had not said anything of import but that was not important.
These people were so devoted to him that they would interpret his words in their ways. This was both a good thing and a bad thing!
They imagined him to be an all-knowing, all-powerful governor of creation, and because of this, they imagine that his words must not be so simple.
There must be multiple meanings to what he was saying!
There must be more that we cannot understand or fathom in our current intelligence!
There must be more!!
