Swindled by a Weakling

With a rain of pink lights that once again gave Midas major second-degree burns, leaving his form in tatters as he stood there, Midas was not surprised when the Python forgot completely about its injuries, turning itself into water vapour while attempting to run away.

Fucking damn it! Badly made Artefacts are so annoying! Or rather it was Midas' energy expenditure that was annoying! Whatever it was, it was not good. Midas pounced yet again, this time towards the Draconic Python to take it down too.

Midas threw out his final Energy Locker, hoping for the best. As it started glowing, forcing the Serpent out of its vaporous form, Midas was already ready to destroy this Noble Beast thoroughly.

He couldn't let it live, at least not like this. It was too dangerous, and he was too weak right now. Midas was planning on negotiating with it about the price of its life and hopefully, negotiations would go well.
