Two weeks later....

The finals of the chuunin exam have begun, the first fight was between Boruto and Yoroi with Kumo Gakure, of course, the Hokage's son easily won the fight and moved on. Another match was between Shikadai and Wasabi, which Shikadai won.

"Now it's time for the fight between Mitsuki from Konoha Gakure and Shinki from Suna Gakure"

The named genin faced each other

"Let's do our best," Mitsuki said smiling

Shinki didn't say anything, Mitsuki was the first to attack trying to attack his opponent. When he appeared in front of Shinki, Suna's genin covered himself with his sand, forcing Mitsuki to dodge the attack by jumping back

"Is that sand?" Boruto commented

"Yes, but it seems to me that this is not ordinary sand. It resembles the sand that the third Kazekage wielded," Sarada said

"Mitsuki will not be easy to break through this"

When Shinki attacked Mitsuki with his sand, Mitsuki disappeared from his sight appearing behind his opponent and making his seals

"Fuuton: Daitoppa" Mitsuki fired a powerful stream of air

However, his attacks did nothing to Shinki, when the Suna Gakure genin attacked with sand again, Mitsuki jumped up, sticking out his hand towards the opponent, then shot a golden lightning bolt. Before the attack could hit Shinki, he covered himself with his sand, then attacked Mitsuki again

"I can't dodge," he thought

Mitsuki failed to do anything and felt sand wrap around his leg, then Shinki threw Mitsuki against the wall of the arena and onto the floor

"Mitsuki!"

"Mitsuki is no longer fit to fight, the fight is won by Shinki"

Boruto noticed how the medics were taking Mitsuki to the medical room, the blonde immediately ran to his friend

"Mitsuki!"

"Boruto, watch out for that boy, he's too powerful for a normal genin," Mitsuki warned

"I will consider"

Boruto returned to the contestants' seat and watched Sarada's fight

"The next fight will be Sarada Uchiha against Yodo"

The blonde Suna girl fired some attacks at Sarada, the brunette activated her Sharingan with two tomoe. Sarada easily dodged Yodo's attack, then jumped up and made her seals

"Katon: Hosenka no Jutsu!" She released several fireballs from her mouth

Yodo dodged the attack by dodging to the side, Sarada predicted it by appearing in front of her, this time Suna's kunoichi failed to react and received a blow to the stomach from Sarada which sent her into the arena wall creating a dent in it

"Fight wins Sarada Uchiha and goes to the semi-finals. Now it's time for the first semi-final fight in which Boruto Uzumaki will fight against Shikadai Nara"

Boruto and Shikadai faced each other

"Good luck," said the two friends, clenching fists together
