Rumors..

Liam

I glared at the article before me, my face pale with horror as I read every paragraph. I never would have found out about this entire situation had Luke not called me. Apparently, this article had reached Europe, and it was not doing any good for the company. Luke said it was urgent that I returned to London as soon as possible, but with the news flying around, I'd probably get arrested the moment I step foot at the airport.

The implications of this rumor were severe. The success of my company, the livelihoods of countless employees, all hung in the balance. Information like this travels fast, and it wouldn't be long before the media comes knocking at my door to demand for my own side of the story.

Anger surged inside of me, a burning rage that coursed through my veins. How could someone do such a thing? So willing to destroy lives, and for what gain? My fists clenched, and I fought to control the overwhelming emotions that threatened to consume me.
