Impatience

The hobgoblin charged toward Rain and then swung down its club when it got within his range. Rain rolled to the side and avoided the hit, but he felt the ground shaking. Without his proper defense, that probably could smash his head…

"No wonder the other guy decided to take his chances against me," Rain thought.

The monster soon raised its club and turned toward Rain, only to see him with an arrow in hand and ready to fire it. Even though he wasn't a master of it like Asche, Rain knew how to fire one at ten meters of distance, but the monster knew how to deal with one as well. He quickly raised his club and blocked the attack.
