Dragonfire Resistance

The expanding shadow of her hatred manifested as a dark energy, swirling and blending with the natural darkness of the forest. It seemed as though the very air resonated with Elisabetha's turbulent emotions. Rain could feel his power increasing, but his ability to think decreased…

"Hey…" Rain said.

"My bad…" Elisabetha said and then calmed down. "Anyway, don't say the kind of thing that would reel me up like that."

"You shouldn't instead let that kind of sentence affect you so much," Rain said as he moved around. 

Rain lost a good chance to attack the monster since he didn't want to do it while enraged and with his mind clouded. Still, there was no point in dwelling on that. He began to fly around while using wind magic since getting too close to the water would be the same as asking to be grabbed again by the beast.
