The irony of your own words

Rain's teammates exchanged confused glances, clearly confused by the suspicious conversation. The mention of using people as materials for enhancing armies left them with more questions than answers. The lack of clarity on the specifics of this world and its inhabitants added to the overall sense of unease.

Although troubled by the insinuation that the enemies were somehow like him, Rain brushed it off. He knew he was just using his intellect and healthy suspicion to navigate this bizarre environment. However, the vague warnings and ominous tone of the mysterious voice left an unsettling atmosphere hanging in the air.

"Well, it is better than letting you become materials for the enemies. I can bring you to my hideout, but you will have to deactivate all of your defensive spells."

"Thanks, but no thanks." Rain said.

"If you are waiting for someone, you don't have to worry about it. They won't come until the next day. Time passes differently here."
