Spores

Realizing the threat posed by the living spores within the mist, Rain quickly formulated a strategy. Rain wielded his control over the elements and manipulated the air surrounding the group. By increasing the temperature and creating a heated atmosphere, the spores that were feeding on their wounds began to wither and die. The scorching air proved effective in neutralizing the microscopic threat.

The decision to avoid freezing the wounds, given the presence of the living spores, turned out to be a wise one. Freezing them along with the spores might have trapped the threat within, complicating matters further. Instead, the group opted for a more direct approach, exterminating the living spores before tending to their wounds and allowing healing magic to take its course. The air crackled with residual heat as the last of the insidious microorganisms succumbed to the searing temperature.
