While Rain's friends had finished killing the twentieth glastly beast, Rain himself was also in a bind… after using the digital clone, Rais decided to use something else to rest Rain's limits. As the machine god of information, he was prepared with several ways to deal with him.

As the monstrous entity took on the form of Rain once more, a chill ran down his spine at the sight of his twisted doppelgänger. But this time, there was something different about it. The creature seemed to have gained new abilities, each more ominous than the last.

The first of these abilities was the same defensive mechanism. Whenever Rain launched an attack against it, the creature would reflect a portion of the damage back upon him. It was as if his own strength had been turned against them, causing harm with every blow he struck.
