True colors

The dragon god recovered when Rain landed on the ground and while he waited for a continuation of the attack, nothing happened. He just turned to look at him… still unable to explain the sudden speed that even surpassed his who had already maxed out all the skills of the temporal path.

"You said that you kept an eye on me after I returned, right?" Rain asked. "No wonder something like this would surprise you. You wouldn't understand anything that I learned and used before that time, then."

The Dragon god couldn't help but scowl. He didn't like to hear that Rain implied that he was no different from the machine gods, that he only learned what was convenient for him, and that he was unable to use his creativity or find solutions to difficult problems.
