Lance was bound to a 'Favorability System. Every world he entered as a side character who has been spurned by life and soon tragically died. 

In order to return home as soon as possible, he began the cautious journey of strategizing to take down the targets.

Level 0 Targets after reaching 100%: Lance, I will die for you!

Level 10 Targets after reaching 100%: Lance, be with me or die.

The warmth emanating from Nicholas's body enveloped Lance during the embrace.

A warmth that could only belong to a living person.

Nicholas stood there, taken aback at first, and then he returned the hug gently, a hint of suppressed joy on his lips.

Lance must like him too. If they managed to escape from this place, he resolved to tell him about his feelings.

Out of Nicholas's sight, Lance furrowed his brow.

He had harboured suspicions that Nicholas might be another supernatural pretending to be human, but the warmth he felt didn't align with that notion.

The skin under his touch exhibited the elasticity of a living person.

If one of the targets is a supernatural being, couldn't the other be as well.

He inquired, [Is Nicholas just a human?]
