As Lia said that, Cristian couldn't see the wall of darkness again. 'What the heck?' he bellowed internally, canceled his spell, sent his axe back to the void space, and rubbed his eyes.
Wasn't there a wall before him?
"Umm, is there a problem?" He heard the elven girl's voice and more creases formed on his forehead.
She opened the last door in the corridor, revealing a neat room with a well-dressed bed. Sunlight flooded from the window, illuminating the room. Chatters from the streets below.
"It's a nice view from up here," the elven girl said, leaning against the window with her round ass facing him.
Grinding his teeth, Cristian marched up to her, turned her around, and held her throat. Although the hood covered his face, she could feel his piercing gaze. "Get out NOW!" he hissed.
Watching her leave the room, Cristian clenched his fist, his emotions in turmoil as he disliked his situation.
