The elven girl was a little confused. The scene she showed Cristian was something that had happened almost an hour before she left to find him.

Her first thought was that he would be glad; the girls were left for a beast, but it turned out she was wrong.

The fox was as important as the girls, it seems, and not even the snake girl before her looked jealous about it.

As a high goddess, she was restricted to acting in lower beings' affairs without a solid reason that could prove her innocence in the court of gods.

She was just here to monitor this man, whom she saw as a potential subordinate, and not go on a trial facing The Mother.

As kind as that woman was, she had once seen her erupt in fury, and the world's structure almost collapsed that day.
