When he saw the man was about to use his wind blast, Cristian opened his mouth. "Haaa!"

His booming voice caused a wave that sent the man hurling towards a horse. "Leave him; the portal is still open!"

The leader shouted at his men, who turned their attention to the portal.

"Not while I'm here," Cristian said, bolting toward a warrior who was a woman with fierce eyes.

The woman yelled, dashing toward him with ferocious momentum, but a single clash caused her to stagger, her eyes wide open, frozen in shock. While the woman slowly came to a stop, he shot an arrow of decay into the chest of the mage, whom she was supposed to protect.

A rumbling black mist formed around him, blasting out instantly.

The mist met the split body of the female warrior, turning her corpse to dust.

Defending the attack of the hooded man, Cristian found himself struggling to keep up with the man's speed and skill with the sword.
