*Rustle!* *Rustle!*
As they walked through the forest, which had turned from a normal forest to a creepy place without sunlight, their feet made rustling sounds due to the leaves on the ground.
Cristian was certain that the sun was still up, but this forest seemed to be cut off from the realm.
He squatted, dug his hand into the soil, and grabbed a handful. "A necromancer can't do this. This place has been touched by death laws," he said, staring at the dark soil with creases on his temples.
"Death laws! It must be the reason the necromancer came here. This is a paradise for his class, but this doesn't explain the darkness." Sheila looked around; her ears perked as she observed her surroundings.
"Because along with death, there's also darkness. It must be a rift caused by a battle or something that fell or was planted here. Maybe it's what the necromancer is searching for," Cristian said to Sheila.
