Lavinia slammed her shield against an armored being with blue smoke emitting from the gaps in its armor. It staggered and lowered its body, then leaned forward and slashed at her leg. But Lavinia slammed her shield to the ground, cutting off the being's arm.
"Ah!" Yelling, she bashed its head repeatedly until an arm held her shoulder. "That's enough," Cristian said, staring down at the being that turned into blue mist.
The centaurs and other creatures they fought since before the tenth floor always turned to white mist after they died, but it was different this time.
Raising his head, he gazed at the snowy plains and mountains with a solemn expression.
There were metal poles stuck haphazardly throughout this entire place; the desolate air reminded him of the aftermath of a war.
His boots sank into the thick snow as he walked forward and stood at the hill, peering down at the plains below.
