"William! William!"
Knock! Knock!
Isabella persistently knocked on the wooden surface of William's door, raising her voice in an attempt to rouse him from sleep. Normally, a few light taps and a soft call were enough to stir him awake, but today, the response from the other side of the door was eerily silent. Alarm bells started to ring in her mind, her womanly instinct was awakened by the abnormal quietness. 'This is not like him at all...' she thought, worry creeping into her heart.

With a sense of apprehension, Isabella pushed the door open, the creaking sound echoing in the silence. She was greeted by the sight of William, seemingly sound asleep on his bed. As her gaze landed on him, she couldn't help but notice the alarming paleness that seemed to have replaced the usually healthy color of his face. His once lively face now held a deathly pallor that didn't go unnoticed. Furthermore, his breathing seemed labored, each breath sounding heavy and strained.
