Two Weeks: Untold

Moon laid face flat on a slab under one of the enemy tents. The wound on his arm was oozing a green mucus and he seemed to be in pain as he subtly writhed and groaned.

It's been fourteen days since he got here, he's had absolutely nothing to eat and had to use his hands to try to move the wet mud out of the way to get the mud out the dirty water to stay hydrated.

He laid on one of the slabs that the original owners of the territory brought in to keep him up out the mud so his wound doesn't get infected.

Moon heard a subtle rustle and he forced his crusted eyes open as he forced himself to his feet.

He was starving but he didn't look too emancipated but was skinny, as usual.

He crawled out of the tent, the strength he used to originally have behind every one of his steps was gone as he staggered towards where he heard the sound from.

He raised his good arm and ran his palm over his face as he tried to speak.

"Just, don't do this dumb bullshit. Come out." He said with an exhausted voice.

His feet slowly sinking into the mud below him as he stood unarmed.

Someone hopped out the covers of the trees and with a swift movement they attempted to attack Moon with a huge battle mace.

Moon raised his head to look at the weapon slowly descend upon his weak figure and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing which caused it to connect with him and push him a few feet away from where he was standing.

Moon laid on the floor as his forceful movement was halted. He raised his head out the mud to stare at the average looking player savage. He had his hair cut short and had basic sewed garments, Moon understood that two weeks would be enough for this.

"Do you have food or medicine?" Moon asked as he forced himself to his feet.

"…" The new opponent remained silent a he crept slowly towards Moon. He seemed to not have the intent to kill but Moon expected that he would do it anyway.

"Chief." Moon said as he waved his arm weakly and walked away like he couldn't be bothered to actually speak anymore.

The Legislator cracked in through a glitch and a dagger stabbed the back of the opponent's head and pierced out through the front.

As though that was not enough the Legislator kept on cleaving through the opponents head until nothing was left but literal shavings of blood and chunks of flesh and brains and then the Legislator vanished.

"Thank you, Chief." Moon said as he staggered back into the tent.

"I guess my plan wasn't the best this time. This game really did change just to make sure it killed me." Moon contemplated as he wondered why he managed to cross through the circle of Plague rodents alone. He even thought that maybe his allies had forgotten him or abandoned him. He laid in the tent, with a pulsating and infected wound on his arm as his eyes slowly closed once again.

--

"… Look at all these corpses…"

"… Look at the tents…"

"Wait… -someone is in here…"

"Its him."

Moon heard voices and he opened his crusted eyes once again as he crawled out of his tent.

"Here we go again." He said before he was knocked down by someone else before he could fully stand up.

"It's a zombie! Aaahh." Vari said sarcastically as Moon began to recognize the faces and voices.

Moon crawled out and saw three other people excluding Vari.

Kaizer was searching all the corpses of the people that he and the Legislator had killed and He saw the Legislator high above his head, so Moon signaled for the Legislator to stand down and it vanished into a green glitch.

Moon looked about and his eyes met with the blue jester. He had scars and burns all over and still had that arm wrapped up and hung off his back. He also had a peculiar young girl with long unkept curly hair clinging to Adam and hiding behind him.

"Kaizer… Do you have Medicine, or food?" Moon asked as he staggered closer to Kaizer.

Kaizer had a wide grin on his face and a weird look in his eye as he whipped off the shoulder bag he had on and opened it up. Moon looked inside of it and it was like everything he had ever wanted had been fulfilled, he saw make-shift bandages, roots, herbs, fruits and leaves. He wanted to jump for joy but his knees were weak.

Moon brought his guard fully down and fell straight into the mud as he raised his hands and whispered "Hurrayy" To himself.

Kaizer went over him and tended to his devastating wound.

"You got hit by a Plague weapon? Did you try cut open a wound with your dagger?" Kaizer asked as he used a coarse leaf with a burning property to scrape away at the green mucus over the open wound.

"No. It was one of those bastards from earlier." Moon said, referring to the men that attacked him as he left with Adam to find the grave of Beatrice.

Kaizer disinfected the wound and wrapped it up and then tossed him a weird looking fruit as he hurriedly ran towards the huge mace that the last opponent brought in.

"He really survived two weeks here with no food or water while being that wounded." Adam said in disbelief to Vari who was inspecting all the tents.

Vari ignored him and kept up with his inspection.

"He is Moon Afterall." Kazer said in reply as Moon pierced the awkwardness with his gaze and stared down Adam.

Adam looked nervously back at moon and slowly stepped back, pushing the little girl who was tightly holding onto him.

"C'mon, jester. You're funny, you should make a joke. I know you have one." Moon said as he bit into the weird apple shaped fruit and the yellow juice dripped down his mouth.

"…" Adam remained silent. He had his guard really high for some reason, like he expected Moon to attack.

"Talk about trust issues. You were rocking with me two weeks ago. What the fuck happened?" Moon said as he whipped his long mud-covered hair and walked towards Vari. He seemed to be feeling better already.

"Probably scared of you. You look like you have an STD." Vari said as he tried to hide his cackle by biting his tongue.

"You aren't funny, gramps." Moon said as he stared at Vari with a frown on his face.

"You wanted a joke, mudskipper." Vari responded as he ripped the fabric off the tent frame and tossed it on the mud.

"You don't want to know what happened?" Kaizer asked Moon curiously as he mounted the battle mace on his back and tried to get better balance.

"No, no, I do. But I reckon I'll find out anyway. Were you chasing that one guy?" Moon said as he pointed to the corpse of the attacker who he just had the legislator kill.

Kaizer looked at what Moon pointed at and put his foot over his back and with a gleaming smile he affirmed Moons suspicions.

"You know the one white haired geezer? That one racist and sore old dickhead that hates you?" Vari asked.

"I know of him." Moon responded with a sneer.

"Yeah, we destroyed the stronghold he was trying to build. He really trusted us enough to take us there and provide us protection from the Plague and Scorching day heat and the acid rain and the-" Vari tried recounting but was interrupted by Moon.

"Destroyed? That's hard to believe. You really took down all of it yourself? Also, why wouldn't you just stay in his protected territory, even if you were coming to find me, how did you know I would be here?" Moon inquired as he subtly walked closer to Adam who was paying attention to the conversation and didn't notice.

"You got us there. We just took down their security and let the Plague king and his goons do the rest. And we didn't stay there because the geezer either had a rule to prevent immediate transfer of territory after his death, or he isn't dead." Kaizer replied.

"But I'm sure he's dead tho, we cleared out his helpers and we severed both his legs, he cant walk." Vari said as he tore off the fabric from each of the tents.

"We found you because of this guy." Kaizer said, pointing at the headless corpse he had a foot on.

"I don't know how but many people have pretty good skills a little bit too early, and he had a mapping one, he could detect territories and wanted to assume ownership of one before we found him so he would have an upper hand. And before you ask, yes, I did chase him because of this mace." Kaizer said as he hid a chuckle behind his raised fingers.

Moon nodded his head and at this point he was right in front of Adam and before Adam could notice Moon had braced a fist and landed a solid wallop to his face and picked up the little girl who was clinging to Adam.

"Hola Ninita!!" Moon Screamed in the little girl's face.

"Who are you?" Moon asked, trying to seem nice but the girl was petrified.

Adam fell to the floor. A little dizzy he leapt back to his feet and demanded the girl be returned to him.

Moon stared into the girl's teary eyes and proceeded to return her to Adam as he walked over to Kaizer and pulled another fruit from his bag and bit out of it.

"Aight. I don't even care. I'm a great uncle, she'll think I'm fun soon enough." Moon said out of spite as he crawled back into his tent to recuperate.
