Chapter 21-taste

Marilyn's POV

After returning home with Lynn, it didn't take long before the sky suddenly unleashed a torrential downpour. Lightning cut through the sky, accompanied by thunder that reverberated in our ears.

After we finished freshening up, I took out the first aid kit and sat on the couch, stopping Lynn as he emerged from the laundry room.

I said, "Lynn, come here. Let me check your wound."

Lynn responded with a soft acknowledgment and obediently sat in front of me.

His hair was damp, not dried properly, and he had casually wiped it a few times with a towel. As I expected, he hadn't paid much attention to the wound while taking a shower. The wound at his eyebrow had been soaked by the water, causing the scab to dissolve, and the skin around the wound had turned pale.
