Chapter 22: Blood Lines and Lies

“MIRA’S POV*

“You are perceptive, it will serve you well in our training” Sage noted. “To help you understand, we will need to start at the very beginning,” she explained, as she waved her hands over the scroll making the letters and figures come to life, like a living and breathing storyboard.

“That’s incredible!” I exclaimed. “Will I have the ability to do that someday?”

“I have a feeling you will be able to do that and much, much more,” Sage chuckled. She then drew our attention to the top of the scroll where two wolf figures sat on either side of a full moon.

“Look familiar?” she asked.

“It looks like the crest on my bracelet, but this one has a full moon,” I noted.
