I was so nervous that I could scarcely breathe as we hiked away from camp hand in hand.

The rugged beauty of the wilderness stretched out before us, captivating my senses with its untamed majesty. Our hike led us deep into the woods where we stopped and worked in silence to set up camp for the night.

As we pitched the tent, our hands moved in synchronized harmony, a silent dance of understanding.

I paused for a moment, taking in the sights and sounds around us, like the gentle rustling of leaves and the melody of a babbling brook whispered nearby. But amidst this serene backdrop, a current of nervous anticipation still coursed through me.

As Trae placed the last tent peg in the ground, he turned to me, his pale eyes filled with warmth and concern. "You’re awfully quiet. Are you alright?" he asked softly.
