Sitting quietly, quite literally by force, has got to be the most difficult thing in my life. I want to scream and object and defend Eileen. Instead, all I can do is sit and watch it play out. And from the looks of things, it doesn’t seem to be going all that well.
Indigo goes over the basic court proceedings, which basically sound like every courtroom drama I’ve ever watched in my life except for a council of vampires instead of a jury. Not sure where Eileen would have gotten a lawyer on such short notice, but she doesn’t have one and is left to fend for herself.
Bea is also completely on her own, but has had what appears to be many hours to gather her thoughts and evidence together. She pushes up a pair of glasses on her face to complete her lawyer aesthetic, pops open a briefcase, and begins to take out photos and documents one by one.
