Aey's reaction at lunchtime kept bugging Fern throughout the afternoon. Her curiosity swirled in her heart until she could hardly process anything in the class. If she hadn't seen that book tonight, she probably wouldn't be able to sleep again. Therefore, she must find time after school to go back to the library again to see the book that Aey was so possessive of.


When school was over...Fern made up some lie that she wanted to run some personal errands, in which Aey did not seem to doubt her to any degree.


“Aey, so what are you going to do next?” asked Fern while the two were packing their bags after finishing their last class. Aey thought for a moment before answering her friend's question.


“I think I will do some laundry, why? Do you have anything I can wash for you?”


“No, it’s not that. I would like to go on some personal errands.”


“Would you like me to accompany you?” Aey asked, but the friend promptly refused.
