Long Story Between Him and Me Part II

"Envy, huh?"

"Shut up! Let's eat. Or else you’ll be late for the afternoon class."

Sipang did not say anything further. Instead, she scooped up the minced pork basil stir-fry in her lunch box and the other half of the Chinese sausage into her friend's lunch box. Phupha turned to deny it...but Sipang knew what the other was up to.

“Eat it up... I give it to you every day. You reject me every day. Are you mentally ill...? Help me eat it. Mom cooked a lot for me. Most importantly... I don't know why I'm feeling uncomfortable lately. I doubt I overeat and need to be on a diet a bit. Otherwise, no boy will court me,” said Sipang. The girl laughed jokingly before scooping up her rice and chewing lusciously.

Phupha looked at his friend with all the appreciation in his heart...

“If no one courts you, that’s good.” Phupha accidentally said his thought out loud, causing Sipang to furrow her brows...turning to look at her friend.

“What is it, Phu?”
