The Morgue’s Backstory Part II

“Hey, Nurse Koi.”

“Hello, Uncle Bherm. Have you eaten yet? Here, I bought you a pineapple roasted curry.” A young nurse handed over a bag of curry that she bought from a restaurant in the hospital to the old man. When she was free, she would often buy some food for Bherm because she knew that he had no one who would take care of him since the loss of the most precious person in his life. She definitely could feel the hearts of those who had lost loved ones.

“Thank you very much, Nurse Koi. You shouldn’t have bothered. I don’t want to cause you any trouble.”

“It's okay. If there's anything I can help, you can tell me. You must be lonely without your daughter, Uncle." Nurse Koi said pitifully. The other party did not respond but gave her a little smile to the gold-hearted nurse before him, “Oh, I didn't come here just to bring you curry. I also take relatives of the deceased to bring back the body. You are done with the body, right?"

“All done.”
