The Sixth Lucky Girl Part II

“Oh, sorry.” Ploy hurriedly bent down to support the girl. The fallen girl shook her head slightly to tell that she did not hold a grudge against Ploy. She stooped down to collect her belongings back to her bag with Ploy and New helping.

“It's okay. I'm sorry too. I was just too busy searching for donation money in my wallet, so I didn’t see you. Sorry, again," said the other while Ploy nodded her head in return. When everything was back in the girl’s bag…the two of them could only smile at each other and didn't say anything further. Both parties walked separately.

Chaplu whisked to the coffin donation area and handed the amount of money to the Foundation staff. After that, she received a thin sheet of paper to fill in her name. Then she went to choose a coffin to donate. Plywood coffins looking similar to one another were lined and piled up until they were above her head. Chaplu raised her hands and prayed according to the message on the donation slip.
