The sound of Nurse Koi's low-heeled shoes echoed throughout the ward as she jogged toward her shift’s location. The surroundings of the counters lining up were silent. There was no one around, not even the other nurse who would be on duty tonight. The lady put her handbag on the table and let out a tired sigh. By the time the nurse arrived at the hospital, she almost died. Fortunately, her car was okay. Otherwise, she would have to rush and bother the insurance. What a life... Today was not her day!


Just as Nurse Koi lowered her butt onto the chair, the lights at the counter in front of the OB/GYN ward instantly went off. Her heart instantly fell while she thought to herself that she was spooked by a ghost for sure.
