CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE (A STEP TO RESCUE 1)

"Think Sarah, think." She kept saying to herself as the maids helped her with her wedding dress on her wedding day, which was an emerald green bum short and white off-shoulder corset.

Her hair was made in a crown design and adorned with flowers of different colors. Her lips were smudged with red lipstick and contour and eyeshadows were also applied to beautify her.

Her neck, ears, legs, and hands were adorned with pairs of beautiful gold jewelry sets.

"The wedding has already begun and you will be brought outside in thirty minutes." One of her maids informed her with a smile and walked away.

Sarah went more her knees and folded her hands.

"Father Lord in heaven. My grandpa used to tell me about how merciful you are and told me to always talk to you but I have been so busy with my life that I never spoke to you even once and now I am in big trouble. I need your help so desperately now. I just need a miracle, one miracle that will save me from becoming an alien's wife and I promise to be a good girl and serve you for the rest of my life if you can do this, dear God." She continued praying and more tears came down her eyes.

The journey was not easy for the scientist and his men but unlike Sarah's small rocket, they had a bigger one with more equipment and were able to save themselves from crashing down.

They landed on the planet safely but none mustered the courage to go outside of the rocket. But Mr Denis who couldn't wait to see his daughter ran outside and the rest ran after him.

"It's so beautiful." David Swiffer said with a million-dollar smile. This was certainly a jackpot for him, if he can start bringing rich people to the planet then he will be a billionaire in no time.

"Look, I think people are watching us from that side." Joseph one of David Swiffer's men whispered to them.

"We must get our weapons and be ready to attack," David said to them.

"What if they harm my daughter while we do that?" Mr Denis asked shivering.

"Would you rather like them to capture us as well?" David asked him and patted Mr. Denis on the back to keep him calm.

"Be ready," David said as they brought out their guns.
