Chapter 39 - More New Concepts

Chapter 39 – More New Concepts

Mentally sighing to herself, she let herself be teleported to somewhere else.

Although, when she turned on her omnipotence, she didn't really think much about the danger. She still had her omniscience turned off to avoid spoilers, but with all of her strength and skills back she had nothing to worry about.

...

"Welcome" The first thing she saw was a young man sitting on a chair floating in the middle of a universe.

"Umm... what?"

"You must be confused, but please let me explain." Already, his confident and smug smile annoyed Ciel.

"My name is... George. I am the god of this multiverse, and the world you were just in was also part of my multiverse. I am someone known as a creator. And I want you to be my wife."

"Umm... what?"

"Don't be so confused. If you agree, I will give you incomprehensible wealth and power."

"Wait what?" Ciel, for once, was absolutely stunned by the sheer nerve of this person, "me?"

"Yes. You see, as a creator and a God I am well versed in exploring the unknowns and expanding my own multiverse. It was then I discovered you, in a hidden corner from everyone. Through my efforts, I have finally pulled your consciousness out of there. You can't even resist." Soon, a lustful look appeared in his eyes as he stood up and got closer to her.

"Your beauty stunned me, and I want you to be my wife. As I said, if you agree I can give you unimaginable power and wealth, and I will even spare the universe you came from."

"Sorry... I'm already with someone though."

Then a look of disgust showed itself on his face.

"You mean him. That person disgusts me. He dares to take advantage of you. A mere slime in human form is nothing compared to me. Join me, be my wi-"

"-what did you say?"

"Pardon?"

"Repeat what you just said."

"Uh, a mere slime in human form is nothing compare to me?"

"Oh really?"

"Yes. He deserves to d-"

He paused as he saw the look on Ciel's face – anger.

(He's arrogant, dissed Rimuru and wants me to be his wife. HIM? A mere god?)

"How arrogant you are."

"What di-"

"Did I allow you to speak?" For some reason, even though he was in his own territory and should be completely omnipotent, he actually could not speak.

"I will make you suffer my wrath now." It was very simple. She didn't elaborate further or talk further. Heck, she didn't even care about how she finally found out why she was pulled into another world. A simple sentence was all that was needed.

As he looked into Ciel's blood-red eyes, he became entranced and slowly got pulled into her realm.

She turned his pain tolerance and weakened his emotions as much as she could without permanently making him disfunctional.

Then, she gave him a simple torture method.

For the first 10 million years, she made him suffer nothing but pure pain. 10 million years for him actually. Amidst the screaming pain and constant begging for help, Ciel watched through an orb sped up hundreds of thousands of times.

Then, for the next 10 million years, she erased his memories and sent him into a normal family. She made him love his family very much, then she made him watch as all he loved died and suffered. This cycle repeated hundreds of thousands of times, and whenever he died in that life, all the memories came back to him, before going again.

The next 10 million years was probably the most tortuous. There was a single room. His pain was turned to the max, and his ability to lose consciousness was taken away. Then, hundreds of muscular men with no soul were summoned with one task, and you can guess what it is...

So, for the first million of the ten, he suffered the penetration of these men non-stop. Then, for the next 9 million, it was animals. Every animal you could think of had their turn with him until he was completely mentally and physically destroyed.

Ciel only watched on indifferently until the last part, where she just sped it up to avoid such gruelsome sights.

After the 30 million years, he reappeared at the same place where he was before teleportation, but the life in his eyes were no more.

Ciel utterly crushed everything about him. For the last part of the punishment, she split his soul into countless pieces and split his consciousness evenly between the souls. Then once again she sent them on the same torture journey again, but this time there were millions going through the same thing.

Once again, after around an hour passed for Ciel, she put together the souls back into one, and as soon as she did, it collapsed.

The all powerful god who was nigh omnipotent in this space was destroyed completely, not by physical attacks but from the trauma he suffered. As his memories combined, his soul couldn't support that much more pain and just died.

"Hmph. Be grateful that you at least died."

(Looking through his memories though, I have to say it is very interesting. At least he was of some use. I could give this to Rimuru as a present!)

The previous anger displayed was no more, and it was replaced with a loving and caring look. It was evident that the only person Ciel truly loves is Rimuru, and there was no changing that.

...

"You want to give this to me?"

"Yes."

Ciel proceeded to give him a watch/bracelet type gadget.

"What's this?"

"It's a new game I found out. If you press this button, your mind will be teleported into the game, and it's like a VR but way more realistic. Everything else will be explained when you enter. And by the way, don't worry about your exterior body, it will just fall asleep so I recommend playing this when you go to sleep. It's great because your body and mind can actually rest, even though you are playing it."

(She seems very proud of herself, seems like it actually might be something interesting...)

He gave her a big kiss on the lips, and Ciel stayed at that exact position in a daze for the next hour, whilst Rimuru laid down and entered the game. Soon, information appeared in his mind.

(A/N I'm going to explain the game in the perspective of the author, not the perspective of Rimuru getting the information. But it's pretty much the same thing, apart from a few admin things to make it's understanding easier for yous 😊)

...

Before the beginning, Veldanava created the omniverse. He made an infinite amount of multiverse and universes.

Eventually, he focused all his efforts on this one multiverse, called the cardinal world, and he discarded his interest from the rest.

The intelligent beings only knew that their creator somehow disappeared, and they put fate into their own hands to create the omniversal rankings system, or the ORS for short.

The goal of this was to manage the infinite amount of multiverses being created by giving them to people who had the ability to manage them.

If one stumbled across a new undiscovered multiverse, they are under the rules that they would reincarnate someone from their own, to the new one and give them system rights. They will then be called creators. Their goal is to develop the multiverse.

The ORS also is like a system interface, but much more vague and simpler.

The system had 10 levels and only level 5s and above had the rights to give others a level 1 system.

The multiverse also had 10 levels, with 1 being the lowest developed, and level 10 being a super powerhouse with thousands of different universes. These are respected by all other creators.

Creators had these things called the creator's credits, or CC, which is used as an omniversal currency.

Creators from all over would list items across the shop for others to buy using CC, and they are given to people who have reached a certain level or gained a certain achievement in developing.

For example, if a creator developed a reincarnation system, they would gain a certain amount of CC.

Everyone starts with 5000CC to kick start their journey, and one universe to start with.

The system could only level up with different achievements and a certain amount of CC, and a multiverse could only level up with how many universes it has, and the types of civilisations it has.

There were still ranks amidst the creators though. The ones with the highest levels would also have the highest personal strength. There was also a leaderboard of the strongest creators.

They could also form guilds and become allies if they want to, and there were also guild rankings, showing the ones with the highest collective strength.

Veldanava, seeing his own creations make this system, decided to not take part in it and completely sealed off the cardinal world from the rest.

Even now, it is still sealed and hidden.

Surprisingly, no one apart from the true dragons knew about this in the cardinal world, which just shows how hidden away it is due to Veldanava. Although, Ciel did have an inkling, but dismissed the thought as a little ridiculous. As long as it doesn't threaten Rimuru, it was fine.

What Ciel did was that she found an unused multiverse and just squished all universes inside into one, making it one very large universe, so when George discovered it he thought he hit the jackpot.

If one were to compare the cardinal world to everyone else, it's strength would top everyone off with no effort at all. Not to mention Rimuru or the other true dragons or something, just the ability to naturally birth an ordinary archdemon would be enough to classify a multiverse as level 5.

(A/N sorry for all that information dump. This idea had been on my mind for quite a while but during this fic I won't dive too deeply in this. I intend for this to just be something that Rimuru could do to pass time. Maybe Medea and Artoria too. Just like the dimensional group chat, I might dive into this a bit more in the future)

...

(Woah! This is dead cool! No wonder Ciel was so proud of herself. Props to her for making this game. It's so realistic as well.)

In front of him was a welcome panel, displaying some basic information, and Rimuru went to build his first universe straight away. As a level 1, only 9 can be created and used.

He then noticed his lack of CC.

(Only 5000? I need way more than that to have fun! I don't want to do this professionally, only as a hobby so it should be alright to pay to win right?)

Looking left and right, despite being the only person there, he then narrowed his eyes at the panel and quickly looked away whilst whistling.

Meanwhile, the CC number changed from 5000 to ∞.

He was going to make a different type of civilisation than what he was used to, but soon decided against it for now and went to introduce this game to Medea and Artoria to it.

Needless to say, they were also intrigued, and after getting the rules and instructions on how to play, they asked Ciel for their own bracelets. Ciel also made it so all three would connect to the same multiverse, and they decided to each own one universe each, and they would not touch each other's. The rest would be agreed upon after they develop.

Rimuru also made it so they could only play it after they go to sleep, and explained why it doesn't affect their rest. This is to make sure they don't get too distracted during the day, and since time passed 1:1 they could only play for 9 hours at most at a time.

Well, if Rimuru stopped time it would be a different story, but that was cheating.

Anyway, that night, all three logged on and designed their own respective universes.

Because of the infinite amount of CCs, they weren't really restricted in options, but Rimuru did say to have some control to make this a bit interesting.

Ciel, debating to herself about it, also shyly asked Rimuru if she could play.

"Didn't you make the game? Of course you can, please join us!"

Because of the danger of invasion, they all decided to make the last universe completely safe.

There was such thing as invasions, and if another multiverse challenges you, both would be engaged into a duel. The winner would take everything and the loser would die. That's why declaring a duel is quite a gamble, and only the same levelled people could duel. This is also one of the quickest ways to level up.

Rimuru connected the last universe to his soul, so if one intrudes, they would be met with the entire strength of the creatures inside his soul, aka the entire Cthulhu mythos. This already would make them the number one ranked across the omniverse.

The universes are as follows:

9th universe - Cthulhu Mythos

8th universe – The place of reincarnation – all dead souls come here to be reincarnated and judged.

7th universe – Ciel's – she made a cultivation like universe, with people having to absorb the earth and sky essence to become stronger. They also are quite behind in technologies, as they invest all their time to cultivating their own strengths.

6th universe – Rimuru's – what he made is more universal, as in the creatures. There is a bit of everything in this universe. A place for dragons, elves, humans, demons, angels, orcs, dwarves, you name it.

5th universe – Medea's – her entire civilisation is based off magic. Everyone being possesses mana, and nature is their best friend. This civilisation has developed magic technology as well and is in the process of exploring the cosmos.

4th universe – Artoria's – she made a more undeveloped civilisation, focusing on personal strength rather than exploration or using the entire universe. All her people live on one world, but it's massive. And there are castles, and kings, and kingdoms etc. it seems the old habits still show.

3rd universe – demon realm - everyone decided for this to be a place for demons. Strange and vile creatures who only know how to fight, and they have colonised and lives across the entire universe. This is the third line of defense.

2nd universe – the heaven realm – everyone decided this is the place for the holiest of angels. They know no sin, and wield the purest of holy power, making them extremely strong. Paired with some weapons that Rimuru and Ciel gave them, it would be impossible to breach this place.

1st universe – a technological civilisation – everyone decided this is the place for humans. It's been tens of thousands of years, and they have developed into an interstellar civilisation. They possess profound and complicated technology, and can harness the energy of the stars efficiently. They have colonised around 10% of the entire space.

"Now we just need to decide a name for it."

"A name?"

"Yes, as the original creator here it asks me for a name for this multiverse."

"Hmm."

"Wait... how about we call it Tempest Café, in honour of our work place."

"Doesn't that sound odd though, calling an entire multiverse 'Tempest Café'?"

"It doesn't right? Ciel, do you agree?"

Meanwhile, she was just there staring at him like an idiot.

"Tempest Café it is."

Apart from Rimuru, the other three comically dropped onto the floor, unable to come up with any words commenting on Rimuru's naming sense.

...

Before she gave Rimuru the game she made this into, she actually paid a visit to the now abandoned multiverse that George used to rule.

Looking at the collapsing bubbles, she lifted her hand, and miraculously, small threads began to intertwine with each other repairing the bubbles.

Even the world that she destroyed herself, the one with the shadow guy in, was revived, and time was rewinded to before she appeared.

(I mean, at least I still have a heart...)

...

(A/N genuinely, I have an inkling of an idea of where I want this to be going, but I realised that focusing on this too much could ruin the entire idea of the fic 'Tempest Café', so I might actually use this as an opportunity to develop more fics, but I don't know yet.

And also, you probably would've found soooooo many plot holes in this chapter. Rereading it a couple times, I found so many it is frustrating, but oh well. I knew doing this would result in plot holes but tbh I don't really care anymore. It's a fun idea I had and I intend to carry it on. Maybe I would dedicate some chapters to it but trust me this won't be the focus of the fic.

Anyway, thanks for reading!)
