The Fluo's plan

Three days had passed, and Drayan was eating Black Beetles to regain his strength. He had also searched the buildings for some bandages to put on his wounds.

His body was better, but his wounds still hadn't healed. Drayan at least regained a little more of his strength, and managed to improve his control over his blood. The open wounds on Drayan's body continued to ooze blood. Drayan had no choice but to prevent blood loss through blood control.

Drayan had gotten so good at blood control over the past few days that he had learned to control his blood loss while moving his body. Before, he could only do this while stopped or meditating.

But he wasn't good enough to control all the leaking of his blood. His blood was still leaking, but slowly when he used the controller. Due to this, some parts of his bandages were turning red over time.

Drayan continued to play his role of pretending to be an obedient bitch to Fluo. He could use Cent to kill Fluo, but Drayan wanted to kill Fluo with his own hands, with his own strength, that would be the sweetest revenge he would savor with a smile.

Also, Drayan wanted to humiliate Fluo before killing him. Drayan doesn't know how strong Fluo is if he fights seriously, and Fluo may have other creatures besides the two high-level modified adult Beetles.

Everything would be even more difficult for Drayan, if Fluo had a mutant level creature or an aura mode of a high level creature.

Even if Drayan had never faced the Carnivorous plant, and had been hurt so badly, he could still lose to Fluo if he faced him now. Drayan in no way wants to lose to Fluo when they fight next time. Drayan promisse he would not bow again, would not bow to Fluo, nor to anyone.

For these reasons, Drayan wants to get strong enough to wipe out Fluo's race. Drayan doesn't feel he has the strength to do that right now. He was willing to swallow Fluo's orders silently for the time being.

But the next time they face each other, one of the two will bow.

Drayan arranged to meet Fluo in the sand of the sea.

Upon arrival at the location, Fluo, without any explanation, began to punch Drayan several times in the face. It became routine to get beaten up by Fluo, so Drayan didn't mind too much.

"I have to hit you a lot, you have to bleed a lot! With that, you're going to be of some use to me! You Useless!" — Fluo kicked Drayan's belly that was on the ground, and spat in his face.

After Drayan was beaten some more, and ended up having purple bruises all over his body, Fluo started to explain the plan to Drayan, as if nothing had happened.

"I understand, but are you telling me to be the bait?!" — Drayan clenched his teeth, holding back his will to jump on Fluo's neck.

Fluo had said that they are going to hunt a modified-level sea creature known as a Saw Shark.

"Yes, you need to be the bait, sharks can like whore blood. But don't worry, I'll help you by shooting some arrows from afar. And remember, you don't have to be scared of the Saw Shark."

*Does this bastard think he's cunning? Alright, I'll play your game. But one day you will follow my game, and that game will be very painful.*

"If you're going to help me from a distance, then fine. I can be the bait."

"What a faithful bitch." — Fluo smiled, while patting Drayan's shoulder.

"You said that the creature will follow me because of the blood in my body, and all I need to do is throw myself into the water, and let the blood from my wounds spread through the water, right?"

"That's right, I'm sure the creature will appear at that time. According to my investigations, the creature always appears around here, near the seashore when it is hungry. Now that you understand everything, go there boy, be adventurous and be happy."

Drayan was full of Fluo hate, but he took a deep breath and caught himself.

Drayan dive in the salt sea, following Fluo's plan.

But of course, it's just an acting. He doesn't trust Fluo at all. It is very likely that Fluo will shoot him while he attracts the Saw Shark's attention.

The objective was clear, to bring the saw shark as close as possible to the edge of the sea, these were the orders that Fluo gave to Drayan.

But Drayan had other plans. He floated in the water, waiting for the blood to spread out into the sea.

There was a chance that its blood would attract other creatures as well, but Drayan had summoned his killers fishes, and given the order to kill anyone who approached.

Drayan waited a few more minutes, until the sea began to stir, creating small waves that were pushing Drayan's body backwards. The one who was making the sea agitate, was heading towards Drayan, at an absurd speed, flapping its fins.

The creature was like a jet ski, gliding over the surface of the sea. Its body and tail moving side to side made the sea water squirt left and right. Its speed was great enough, to leave trails of water behind. It was like white smoke coming out of an engine. The creature was leaving behind an avalanche of water while it swam.

*It's the Saw Shark! Finally we meet again.*

Drayan glared at the creature, squinting its eyes with its lids, and swam towards the Fluo, pulling away from the Shark.

Fluo understood that this was the moment. Fluo took the bow from her back, took an arrow from the leather quiver that was on her waist, and pulled the string, shooting the first arrow, and then quickly placed another arrow on the bowstring. The four arrows shot one after the other towards the Shark.

The arrows hit the Shark's head, however, the arrows were pushed back, as if they had hit some kind of hard object, like steel. To the shark, the arrows were like toothpicks being hurled at him. No scratches were made on the Shark's skin.

The arrows only served to irritate the shark, which began to swim faster, decreasing the distance from 70 meters to 50 meters in seconds.

Even though Drayan was using all his strength to swim fast, the Shark dominated the water and would soon catch up to Drayan at that rhythm.

Fluo wasn't surprised seeing the Shark's speed and endurance.

*It's frustrating, but I understand that I can't kill this creature without risking my life first. I'd better go now, while the idiot boy distracts the creature for me.* — Fluo thought.

"Behave yourself while you're being shark food, and try not to scream too loudly while you're being devour, okay bitch?" — Fluo smiled and turned her back to Drayan.

Drayan continued swimming in search of reaching the sand.

*This bastard only brought me here to be eaten alive?!*

Fluo's goal was never actually to kill Shark, as he knew it would be too risky to use all his strength to do so, with chances of getting hurt or even dying in combat.

Fluo liked to use strategies to ensure his victory without having to fight. He was like a king in a chess game who used his pawns to protect him. Avoiding a direct fight without risking his body is something he does when necessary.

From the beginning, Fluo already had a plan that Drayan could never foresee. Fluo just wanted to find someone who could distract the saw shark while it tried to cross the sea and reach another city.

The Saw Shark is like a guardian of the sea, which prevents Fluo from reaching the city of 'Eity' by passing through the sea. Fluo had been trapped in this city for two months and there was nothing else he could do here. There was a second option, no less safe. There was a part of the town of 'Dallen', which was home to a huge, site modified carnivorous plant.

Fluo didn't have enough balls to face the vines, let alone the carnivorous plant that owned the place. But if he passed through this neighborhood, he could arrive in a quieter neighborhood, and then he could go to the town of 'Mast'.

Not even in his wildest dreams, Fluo could imagine Drayan killing the Carnivorous plant, so Fluo believed that the plant was still alive.

There are two paths, both dangerous. In the sea you meet the Saw Shark and you need to get past the Shark to reach the city of 'Eity'.

To reach the town of 'Mast', it was necessary to first pass through the neighborhood vines, and confront the modified Carnivorous plant.

Fluo had more confidence go through the sea, but he needed someone to help him.

"I admit, you helped me. But to be honest, I already wanted to kill you. Now goodbye, stupid bitch."

Fluo said those words and jumped into the sea. While Fluo swam, he looked back and realized that the Saw Shark was about to catch up with Drayan.

When Drayan saw Fluo jumping into the sea to cross to the other side, a feeling of pure rage rose in his heart.

He cursed Fluo, and assured that Fluo is a dead man.

Fluo believed she would never see Drayan again.

*There's no way he can defeat Saw Shark.* — Fluo kept swimming with that thought.

For Fluo, Drayan just needed to be devoured, and leave the Shark with a full belly. Fluo thought the Shark wouldn't be interested in him if he had a full belly.

From the beginning, Drayan had already decided that he was going to fight the Saw Shark one way or another.

But having someone to weaken the sawshark a little would be great. For that reason, Drayan accepted Fluo's plan. But Fluo couldn't even scratch the creature, and Fluo still left Drayan in a life-or-death situation.

When Drayan understood that he could not compete with the Shark's speed in the sea, he turned to the Saw Shark.

The Saw Shark that was 10 meters away, opened its huge mouth full of sharp teeth to swallow Drayan.

Drayan really wanted to summon Cent right now, but if he did that, Cent would probably swallow the three meter long Shark with a single bite. There would be no meat left for Drayan.

It's hard enough to find modified creatures, and letting Cent eat that creature will be a waste. The only way for Drayan to heal from his injuries and come back stronger than before is killing and eating the Shark.

But Fluo... deceived him, this is by no means a modified creature. When the creature closed the distance to five meters, Drayan noticed that the shark had three red eyes.

*Fuck! If I had known it was a mutated creature, I would never have accepted your plan! Damn Fluo!*
