Seeing the middle-aged man with everything above his thighs smashed into the ground by the stone, Muria twitched his mouth, then looked towards the end of the street, nearly a thousand meters away. A red-haired boy around fifteen or sixteen years old stood in a throwing posture, glaring angrily this way.
Several townspeople near him sat on the ground, weak-kneed. For ordinary people with little strength, seeing a skinny boy suddenly grab and throw a stone larger than a person nearly a thousand meters was understandably shocking.
"Damn old man!" The boy, wearing a white coat with red edges, ignored the stares and rushed over to where his father had been hit by the stone, needing to hurry before his father could run off again.
As the red-haired boy approached, the partially buried stone began to tremble slightly, then more vigorously, and started to rise.
Something below was pushing it up— the streaking middle-aged man, seemingly unharmed, was about to rise from beneath the ground.
Muria, closest to the stone, even heard a low grumble from below, "Leon, this kid, I just went to take care of a normal man's physiological needs, and he chases me through several streets for it? His strikes are getting harsher, but, he hit his mark well, truly my offspring."
Seeing the boulder rise and the red-haired boy named Leon speed up in anger, Muria floated forward a bit and lightly landed on top of the stone.
"Boom!" Accompanied by a faint scream, the stone instantly sank deeper than before, the nearly escaped streaking uncle was pressed back into the ground, unable to move.
When red-haired Leon approached, Muria floated back, making way.
"Thank you!" Seeing Muria step aside, Leon softly expressed his gratitude, then focused on the giant stone in front of him. His right hand, glowing with fiery fighting spirit, struck down without hesitation.
The stone, about the height of a person, exploded instantly, scattering into small pieces without injuring anyone since the bystanders had already fled. The moment the stone shattered, the uncle underneath screamed "tragically."
"So fake!" Muria muttered under his breath, noting the full-bodied scream lacked any sign of weakness.
"Get up, damn old man!" Hearing his father's pitiful cries, Leon's anger was palpable.
"Leon, I'm your father, and you treat me like this. It's utterly unfilial." The middle-aged uncle, lying at the bottom of the crater, used the torn and tattered sheet to stand up, his upper body only dirtied with dust and without a single scratch or tear.
"Hmph, that's for betraying my mother." Leon glared at his father.
"I haven't betrayed your mother. We've just arrived in Varianthi, and we're unfamiliar with the place, so I went to gather some information." The middle-aged man, covered only with a sheet, solemnly explained.
"And you ended up in Varianthi's biggest brothel to gather information?"
"Ah, Leon, you're young. When you grow up, you'll understand. Brothels are the best places to gather information."
"That's your excuse for betraying my mother?"
"Son, believe me, I love Anna more than anyone."
"Damn old man!" The boy no longer argued but instead acted, his fists enveloped in blazing fighting spirit, swinging punch after punch at his father's face, marked with lipstick. The quick punches left afterimages in the air.
But the middle-aged man, far stronger than his son, covered his modesty with the sheet, dodging with a helpless smile. He easily avoided all his son's attacks, familiar with every move since he taught them all.
"I can't watch this anymore." Muria shook his head, understanding the situation.
Simply put, the handsome uncle visited a brothel to fulfill his needs, then got caught by his son. Probably feeling guilty, he ended up being chased through the streets, losing all dignity.
Watching Leon unable to subdue his father, Muria intervened again, siding with the boy. Facing a father who justified visiting prostitutes and argued his case, it was indeed unlucky.
Second-level human immobilization spell!
"Snap!" The sound of a fist hitting flesh rang out. The streaking uncle, hit by the immobilization spell, froze, then took a punch to the face from Leon, flying and tumbling through the air before crashing hard to the ground, a sight even Muria found painful.
"Ouch! That hurts." The uncle, now with a black eye from his son's punch, sat up, looking at Muria floating above and complained, "Young man, that's not fair, why do you always help my son?"
"Because I find you annoying!" Muria squinted at the naked upper body, covered in lipstick marks from women's kisses, and focused on the pair of daggers tied to his wrist.
"Haha, young man, this is..." Seeing his father about to embarrass himself again, Leon quickly stepped forward, picked him up without allowing any resistance, and thanked Muria once more before swiftly leaving the scene with his father.
"My luck is really something, to stumble upon such interesting people just by wandering around." Muria looked at his palm, then back in the direction the father and son left. "The father has the strength of a third-level gold, and the son, a second-level silver. At their ages, having such strength, they're considered geniuses among humans. But I feel this isn't their true level; they're hiding their strength.
And most importantly, my immobilization spell just now didn't take effect! It was resisted!"
