What is a legend?
In Muria's eyes, someone like his father, Ansol, is truly legendary!
To wander around, spot a Power Dragon, think of it as a future opponent, beat it up and drag it back to raise. Or, when bored, to go into the abyss to hone martial skills, kill a few demon lords, and bring back their corpses as fertilizer for trees.
Or like the human Sword Saint Ron who taught him swordsmanship, born ordinary and of humble lineage, yet unwilling to remain mediocre, constantly striving to overcome his own limits.
Even after becoming a legend, possessing the power to found a nation, he still remains true to himself, not swayed by external things, tempering himself in life and death situations, constantly challenging various powerful beings.
"That legend just now, among their humans, should be considered one of the bottom ones." Hearing Muria's words, Fiona showed a hint of mockery.
"This race of humans always likes to take shortcuts. They have developed many opportunistic secret techniques, potions, rituals, and the like." Fiona explained quietly, "That human legend just now, must have relied on external forces to forcibly break through to legendary status. His various abilities are weaker than those of legends who achieved it on their own."
"Hah, no wonder he was so weak," Muria laughed, his expression slightly improving.
"He's a pseudo-legend. Though he seems to have the pressure of a legend, the spatial abilities of one, he's actually much weaker than a real legend. Without special opportunities, a pseudo-legend can only stay at the first level of legend, hardly able to advance further."
"Are there many of these pseudo-legends among humans?"
"Quite a lot. Among the legends of humans, pick any three, and one is likely to be a pseudo-legend. Humans breaking through tend to rely too much on external forces, and very few can do so on their own."
"Okay!" Muria nodded, understanding. Looking down at the dragons that had completed their task and were happily flying out of the castle below, it seemed they had plundered quite a bit of treasure and gained a lot of benefits from this castle.
"Let's go back to Patrick's Fortress!"
...
"I'm exhausted." Caslana, dressed in a robe and exuding a gentle aura, gasped lightly, watching a squad of holy warriors enter the territory of the Bavarian kingdom, moving quickly through a corridor free of undead fog.
"Muria's bow is really powerful!" The Golden Dragon Sister exclaimed, looking at the great bow in her hand that was slightly shorter than her, "But it consumes too much energy. Every time I gather arrows, it feels like it's going to drain me."
Hearing the Golden Dragon Sister's praise, the Starfall Bow in her hand vibrated slightly, its bow body decorated with ancient god civilization runes flickering uncertainly, conveying a feeling of joy to Caslana's mental perception.
"A legendary weapon beginning to form its own consciousness." Feeling this joyful emotion, Caslana couldn't help but exclaim, "I never thought I'd have the opportunity to use such a legendary weapon!"
At that moment, the Golden Dragon Sister felt the gap between herself and Muria. Although both were golden dragons, the difference in their bloodline levels was like heaven and earth, not to mention their family backgrounds. It seemed her grandfather couldn't even beat Muria's mother.
This gap made the Golden Dragon Sister a bit disheartened, but Muria entrusting his personal weapon to her reignited her hope.
"Hum!" As the Golden Dragon Sister pondered her chances of having offspring with Muria, the Starfall Bow in her hand began to vibrate gently, then more vigorously, until it finally broke free from her grasp, turning into a long rainbow and merging into a nearby young man with black hair and golden eyes.
"Muria, you're back? Did you kill all those nobles?" Caslana followed the direction from which the Starfall Bow had left and immediately saw Muria, who had just stepped through a space gate not far away, her face breaking into a gentle smile.
"They've all been dealt with." Muria looked at the tall, leggy sister with a fluctuating aura, a caring look appearing on his face: "Is my bow not easy to use?"
Before Caslana could answer, the Starfall Bow inside her vibrated, emitting a dissatisfied hum, causing visible ripples in the air around Muria.
Hearing the Starfall Bow's hum, Caslana laughed like the sound of wind chimes, "The Starfall Bow is very powerful and easy to use, but every time I draw the bow and gather arrows, it consumes so much energy that I find it a bit overwhelming."
"Good!" Muria nodded. He had gone to take revenge with a group of dragons for the assassination of his protected demon hunters, naturally not forgetting those holy warriors.
He opened the way for so many holy warriors and expected the same treatment in return. Thus, he handed the Starfall Bow to the Golden Dragon Sister, entrusting Caslana to temporarily open the way for those holy warriors.
To allow Caslana to use the Starfall Bow, Muria had to soothe its nascent consciousness for a while.
However, it seemed that although Caslana was allowed to use his Starfall Bow with his permission, it was somewhat disadvantageous for her, consuming a lot, as after all, it was Muria's weapon. The power attributes did not match, and the process of gathering arrows resulted in significant energy loss.
But without the Starfall Bow, the Golden Dragon Sister couldn't launch attacks from afar on her own. Only with the Starfall Bow could she launch the longest-range attacks, opening the longest shortcut for the holy warriors.
"Lord Golden Dragon!" Just as Muria was preparing to have a good chat with Caslana, the highest commander of Patrick's Fortress descended from the towering city walls, looking at Muria with a mix of trepidation and expectation. After all, he had betrayed those nobles for Muria's promise, so he was quite nervous.
He was probably the person, aside from Muria, who most hoped that those betrayed nobles would die, as the intelligence Caslana had passed to Muria was informed by him to the Golden Dragon Sister.
"Don't worry, it's all been handled." Seeing the general's anxious face, Muria spoke out.
"Phew!" Receiving Muria's response, the general breathed a sigh of relief, "It seems the king doesn't value those nobles much, only sending a soul-level representative to deal with other nobles' complaints."
"No, on the contrary, your king values them quite a bit, sending a pseudo-legend to protect them. But he left in the end, allowing me to deal with those scum as I wished."
"...?" Hearing Muria's words, the general was stunned.
Just as the general was about to ask something, a joyful shout rang out above the city walls.
"The fog has cleared!"
