Silent Nether Gold, a legendary metal most suitable for necromancers. For Muria, it was the most useless legendary metal, obtained from the treasury of a Golden Dragon Mother. He had only taken a few pieces on a whim, thinking they might be useful someday.
Now, it seemed his decision was right. Even the least suitable legendary metal for him could be useful at times, like now. Muria planned to use the legendary metal to test how good Yingtira's teeth were.
If she could swallow legendary metal, then it could be confirmed that there was nothing in this world she couldn't eat.
Under Muria's expectant gaze, Yingtira put the Silent Nether Gold Muria threw to her into her mouth. "Crack!" A clear metallic sound rang out, and to Muria's delight, under Yingtira's snow-white teeth, the Silent Nether Gold remained unchanged, not suffering the same fate as the high-level transcendent metal.
"It's so hard!" Yingtira frowned, holding the Silent Nether Gold in her hand and examining it closely. Then, under Muria's speechless gaze, she swallowed the black metal.
"..." Muria felt his heart twitch violently. Silent Nether Gold was useless to him, but it was a coveted forging material for powerful undead liches and ghost ship captains like Barbossa.
"Ptui!" But soon, Yingtira, who had just swallowed the Silent Nether Gold, spat it out, her face showing clear dissatisfaction: "It's not delicious. I can't even bite it, and I can't digest it after swallowing. Muria, you lied to me."
"I didn't lie to you, it's just that your teeth are not good enough." Muria, returning to his human form, smiled as he picked up the Silent Nether Gold Yingtira spat on the ground and examined it before happily storing it away.
"I want the blue metal." Yingtira glared at Muria. "I want to eat something delicious."
"Okay." Muria, having found a way to restrain Yingtira, cheerfully took out a piece of transcendent metal emitting a dull yellow glow and handed it to the seemingly about to cry little girl.
"Hmph!" Yingtira, frustrated that there was something she couldn't eat, snatched the yellow metal from Muria's hand, swallowed it in a few bites, and then looked at Muria again, "I want to eat the blue one."
"No more." Muria, who had already moved on, directly refused. Yingtira's stomach was a bottomless pit; no matter how much was given, she could consume it all, so it was necessary to control it.
"Okay!" Yingtira, somewhat dejected, licked her lips, responded lowly, and then followed Muria's steps, adhering to the promise she made to Muria earlier.
Next, the sound of fists colliding with metal echoed continuously. The metal golems near the top area of the tower had withstood the erosion of time. These were metal golems forged from high-level transcendent metal, enduring thousands of years without decay, still possessing their defensive capabilities.
But it was all in vain. Almost all the metal golems were turned into irregular metal blocks by Muria's fists and then collected as materials.
Due to the presence of the tower spirit, Muria and his group, at most, encountered an attack by five metal golems. Muria had no problem, but the other dragons struggled significantly.
Within the Mage Tower, the mobility of the dragons could not be utilized, whereas the golems' strengths were maximized, and their weaknesses minimized. In an open area, even a group of humans, if operated correctly, could potentially trap a golem, as it was just a mindless animated construct.
In this situation, Muria had to let Yingtira take action, who then took the opportunity to swallow a golem, causing Muria great distress. He didn't care about low-level resources, but he cherished high-level transcendent metals.
"Evil dragon, halt." In front of a metal door engraved with spirit patterns, a mage-dressed, scholarly tower spirit once again appeared before Muria and his group of monsters, blocking their way with a serious expression.
"I'm not an evil dragon." Muria explained solemnly to the middle-aged mage-like tower spirit.
"Leave this place. You cannot bear the consequences of opening this door." The tower spirit, convinced that Muria was an evil dragon, continued without addressing Muria's words.
"What consequences?" Muria raised an eyebrow, indifferent to the tower spirit's threatening words.
"The things inside are not for you to covet. Fallen golden dragon, this is my last advice to you."
"Shush!" Muria, uninterested in further discussion, drew the Seven Sins Sword and slashed at the metal door in front of him with this notorious battle sword. A silver-white sword light flew out, crossed the tower spirit's projection, and landed on the door, leaving a ten-meter-long scar.
"Legendary weapon!" Seeing the scar on the door, the tower spirit's expression changed drastically, "Stop, this door must not be opened."
Muria ignored the tower spirit and swung the Seven Sins Sword, unleashing more than ten sword lights, each striking the first scar on the door.
Muria had no interest in deciphering the door's magic array; it was too time-consuming. A brute force solution was his preference.
"Boom!" Amid the tower spirit's angry roars, Muria broke through the door. Then, surging flames burst forth, and with them, dozens of fire elementals of various sizes and strengths emerged.
"What's going on?" After dispersing a three-meter-tall fire elemental, Muria looked at the tower spirit questioningly.
He had merely opened the door to the core control hub of the Mage Tower; how had it turned into a gateway to the Fire Elemental Plane?
"Golden dragon, you've caused a great disaster." The tower spirit's face showed despair, "The master's half-plane is finished."
"What disaster? It's just a few fire elementals." The red dragon Altres opened its mouth and directly swallowed three fire elementals, a rather delicious food for red dragons.
"Shouldn't there be an elemental pool behind this door?" Muria looked strangely at the door, from which fire elementals continued to emerge, "How did it connect to the Fire Elemental Plane?"
"It's just that the gateway to the Fire Elemental Plane happened to be in front of this door." The tower spirit, with a look of despair, glared at Muria, "All elemental planes are connected here. I used up three of the master's legendary golems to seal this place, and you came and broke the seal, you evil dragon."
"What exactly happened to this Mage Tower after losing its master?" Muria had felt something was off.
A Mage Tower of such scale would need at least a thousand people to maintain. Where did those people, or rather, their descendants, go? And what happened to the cloud giants that built the floating city?
Furthermore, on his way here, he didn't encounter a single gold-level creature; the strongest were just some ferocious beasts. Simply put, this half-plane lacked any intelligent beings, which was illogical.
The legendary mage's demise only meant the half-plane lost its controller, not that it would collapse. The creatures living within could rely on its resources to thrive and reproduce.
