"Bronya, do you know where there is a teleportation circle that can send me to the Nokia Europa subcontinent?" Muria asked. He had settled all his affairs and was ready to move on to the next subcontinent.
Unfortunately, the divine powers on this subcontinent were weak, unable to compare with the church's influence spread across the Ionian subcontinent. They could not provide Muria with intercontinental teleportation services as they lacked such a high-grade teleportation circle. Muria had to find another way.
"Are you leaving now?"
"My dragons have been found; it's time to head to the next continent and continue the search."
"You are too hasty." Bronya was aware of Muria's global dragon-seeking journey, but she disagreed with his impetuous approach.
"In less than a year, you've crossed two subcontinents. Your mother's original intention in exiling the dragons she raised to twelve subcontinents wasn't just for you to merely pass through these lands and experience the process.
She wanted you to experience and see the places of Erathia, to enjoy those wonderful locations, not just to find dragons and move on. How much of Ionian and Osniro subcontinents have you truly explored?"
"That..." Muria awkwardly laughed and was at a loss for words. He had barely visited a few places, found the dragons, and then moved on to the next continent. His plan was to gather them all as quickly as possible.
"I'm concerned about the safety of the dragons my mother dispersed across the twelve subcontinents," Muria thought for a moment and replied seriously. This was his motivation for seeking the dragons.
"You worry too much, Muria," Bronya looked at him seriously. "What do you think of our dragon race? We're not those fragile humans. The dragons you've raised all have golden-level strength; they already have the means to survive safely.
Moreover, these dragons are definitely safer than ever. Just look at the dragons exiled here. Atreus has definitely left them room to live and grow, but you're unwilling to give them time to utilize their abilities, instead, you're eager to gather them all back.
They're no longer young dragons, Muria. You've taught them magic, how to fight. That's enough. They're already superior to most of the dragons in the world.
Now, it's your turn. You should learn to let go a little and give them enough time."
"…I understand." Hearing Bronya's words, Muria fell into thought and silence, then gave a noncommittal answer.
"What do you plan to do next?"
"I'll stick to the plan, but slow down, heed your advice, and truly see this world, while giving them a chance to prove themselves," Muria smiled. "I hope they won't disappoint me when I find them."
"That's best!" Bronya nodded in satisfaction. She truly had Muria's best interests at heart with her advice, as both Yarilis and the disaster source Demos, whom she had once followed, had traveled every continent in the world.
Even Muria's parents had done the same. According to Bronya's speculation, it seemed that every being with grand ambitions needed to complete a journey around the world.
"So, can you now tell me where there is a teleportation circle that can send me to the Nokia Europa subcontinent?"
"…" Bronya stared at Muria, feeling like she had just spoken in vain; this young one seemed to have listened to none of it.
"I just want to know where such a large-scale teleportation circle is," Muria stepped back slightly, feeling uneasy under Bronya's stare, and softly explained.
"I can tell you, but you must promise me that you will travel there only by walking or flying."
"Okay, I promise," Muria forced a smile.
"The Kingdom of Vermiel Elves."
"Where is that?" Muria looked bewildered. He had never heard of this name. In fact, except for empire-level powers, he knew nothing about other kingdoms or duchies, having never even heard of them.
Seeing Muria's puzzled expression, Bronya took out a rhomboid gemstone, placed it in front of Muria, and activated it.
Then, a detailed three-dimensional map of the subcontinent appeared before Muria, showing forests, mountains, hills, rivers, cloud islands, cities… all displayed in great detail.
Muria, looking at the map almost as big as Bronya, showed a delighted expression: "This is the map of the Osniro subcontinent!"
"Yes, that's right, we are located here," Bronya pointed with her dragon claw at the lower right side of the map, where a miniature volcano surrounded by dense forest was emitting light.
"And the Kingdom of Vermiel Elves you need to go to is here," her large dragon claw pointed to a vast forest on the upper left side of the map, an area even larger than the Norton Kingdom on the Ionian subcontinent.
"That's quite far," Muria said, uncomfortably rubbing his chin. The shortest route from Zaychek to this vast jungle involved crossing the Osniro subcontinent, a very long journey.
"Not far, if you're quick, it won't take a year to reach," Bronya yawned. "If you're really in a hurry, you can leave now."
"Can you give me this map?" Muria pointed to the gemstone projecting the entire continental landscape.
"Take it!"
"Then, see you next time, Bronya." After picking up the gemstone, Muria kicked Auston and jumped onto its back, "Let's go, Auston."
"Muria, remember the promise you just made. Trust the dragons you've trained; they are more excellent than you think. Give them time to excel," Bronya called out as Muria rode Auston, about to fly out of the obsidian palace.
"Muria, I'll see you off," Renata, transformed back into a dragon, chased after Muria who had already flown out of the volcano.
…
"Screech!" A piercing cry cut through the clouds above a human city, and as it echoed, a predatory bird with colorful feathers appeared high in the sky, trailing seven long tail feathers.
However, as the humans in the city saw this bright and beautiful predatory bird, the entire city plunged into chaos because with the appearance of this bird came a rain of fire covering the entire city.
About ten chapters later, Muria accomplishes some tasks, earns a title, and arrives at the Kingdom of Elves, then heads to Nokia Europa subcontinent.
