Chapter 357: Summoning the Giant Legion

"What are you planning to do?" The half-plane, filled with elemental crystals and the presence of the altar, was originally set up for summoning Demos, but with Muria's arrival and Demos not descending, the altar was technically obsolete. Even if it was useless now, Muria's plan to tinker with it required a reason.

"I want to summon a legion here." Muria smiled, "Would you mind if your kingdom had an additional force of powerful giants?"

"Cloud Giants?" Beladion tentatively asked, knowing that where golden dragons nest, cloud giants are often found nearby.

"Primarily cloud giants, but there will be other types of giants as well."

"How many are there?" Beladion asked, his expression invigorated. Aside from some lesser giants, most pure-blooded giants generally possess the strength of a golden level upon reaching adulthood.

"About three thousand," Muria estimated, glancing at the elemental crystals beneath his feet and giving a figure.

"Three thousand cloud giants? That's a lot!" Beladion's face showed his moved emotions. As a king, he had mastered the art of hiding his feelings, but today Muria had brought him too many surprises.

"A lot?" Muria quirked his lips, "I can summon three thousand giants because that's all the elemental crystals here can manage, not because I only have that many under my command."

"I understand." Beladion immediately grasped the implications, holding Remilia as he moved towards a spatial portal. "Modify the altar as you wish, I'll arrange for more elemental crystals to be delivered."

Soon, one servant after another entered the mini half-plane, carrying various types of spatial artifacts filled with elemental crystals, which they then tipped out.

Muria, busy modifying the summoning altar, paid no attention to the servants. He would use however many crystals Beladion provided, summoning as many giants from the Titan Seas as possible.

For him, the presence of the giants served more to bolster his image than for their actual utility. Moreover, he was not only busy with the altar; he was also multitasking by keeping in touch with his spirit, Cassiopeia.

"Cassiopeia, respond if you hear me."

"What do you need, Prince Muria?"

"Can you pinpoint my current coordinates?"

"Yes."

"Send me the coordinates of where I am."

"You don't know your own location?"

"I was summoned here; I have no reference points. Just send me the coordinates you measure."

"Understood." After providing the spatial coordinates, Cassiopeia asked, "Is there anything else you need?"

"Find a way to contact the giants on Taiji Island, tell them my current coordinates, and help them establish a teleportation circle targeting my location.

I'm modifying this summoning altar into a teleportation circle. Once the giants finish their part, we'll have a cross-continental two-way teleportation array."

"Prince Muria, I cannot leave the Titan land; I can't notify those giants who follow you."

"If you can't leave, then find a way to inform Gerald or Herois," Muria named several Titans he knew.

"Understood." Relieved, Cassiopeia, stationed in the Titan lands, knew she couldn't contact other Titans without her master's permission—it wouldn't be proper.

All that remained was to wait. Once authorized, Cassiopeia immediately contacted Gerald and Herois, asking them to notify the giants and bring them a blueprint of the teleportation circle linked to Muria's current spatial location.

...

"Is the altar ready?" King Beladion, having returned to the palace to settle Remilia, and after instructing all available elemental crystals in the palace's stores to be sent to Muria, came over eagerly to watch.

He had seen many giants, but never enough to form an entire legion.

"It's ready." Muria manipulated the altar's array to connect with the teleportation circle constructed by the giants on the Titan Islands.

"Descend, my giants!"

Above the majestic five-tiered crystal altar, the space rippled like water before breaking apart into swirling currents, forming a steadily expanding spatial vortex.

Through the portal, Muria saw a familiar cluster of buildings, the white marble palace built by the giants for him. These splendid and grand structures were merely for show.

On the other side of the portal, the eager giants waited. As soon as the portal formed, a muscular, purple arm reached through, followed by a shoulder, a neck, and then a face very familiar to Muria.

"What's the rush, Terence?" Muria couldn't help but smile wryly as he watched the Storm Giant leader squeeze through the portal, which was still expanding to accommodate his size.

"Prince Muria." Terence, the Storm Giant leader, who had been the first to break through to the Soul Intent level and appointed by Muria, showed a simple smile

 with his chiseled, purple face.

"Take it easy!" Muria grimaced as he watched the Storm Giant leader forcibly squeeze through the portal. Fortunately, his expertise in arrays ensured the portal's integrity, which would typically suffer or even burst under such strain.

Following Terence's full entry into the cramped half-plane, a second giant began to push through the portal—an enormous roc covered in shimmering, rainbow-hued feathers.

"Screech!" The roc, larger than Terence, struggled as the portal had not yet widened enough for it to pass freely. Stuck halfway, it let out an anxious cry.

"What is this?" Seeing the roc, larger and more powerful than any described in books, Beladion looked to Muria for an explanation.

"This is the mount of my Storm Giant leader."

"A giant leader?" Beladion examined Terence, nearly twenty-four meters tall, with a burning gaze that made the Storm Giant leader slightly uncomfortable before turning back to Muria, "How many Storm Giants do you command?"
