"Are you planning to take all the cloud islands directly into the Synapse Subcontinent?"
"If I could fully convert all the cloud islands into well-equipped floating cities, I would. But without that transformation, it would be no different than courting death."
"If you don't avoid it, what do you plan to do?"
"My primary goal is to travel around the world of Erathia and find the exiled chromatic dragons. However, the Synapse Subcontinent is too dangerous for me to travel openly. So, I'll find a way to hide my identity, sneak into the Synapse Subcontinent, and locate the exiled chromatic dragons."
"That is the best decision, Your Highness Muria," Casio praised. "But if you hide your identity, what if you encounter conflicts with some evil entities?"
"I have a legendary-level balor and a pit fiend under my command. I can disguise myself as a demon or devil warlock. With them around, I probably won't need to get my hands dirty."
"Your Highness, I suggest you disguise yourself as a demon warlock. You have some blood lions and flame demons kept in confinement by your giants in the abyssal arena of the Giant City. They have been consuming the corpses of demons slain by the giants and have become quite powerful."
"Alright, in a while, determine my current coordinates and send them over." Muria recalled this matter. He had set up summoning arrays in the Giant City's arena to call forth demons and devils for the giants to fight. He had kept a batch of demons he found pleasing to clean up the corpses.
"Understood, Your Highness Muria. I wish you a pleasant journey to the Synapse Subcontinent." With that, Casio's voice completely disappeared from Muria's mind.
"We need to accelerate the construction of the cloud islands. If we complete the attack and defense systems of the floating cities, I could just fly them over and see who dares to challenge me."
A legendary mage with a floating city has the capability to conquer other planes. Though a single floating city conquering another plane is a bit fanciful, a hundred and thirty-two floating cities united could take over a small plane, and even a true god would avoid their might.
"Manpower is still insufficient!" Muria sighed lightly. Now, the diverse population on the cloud islands exceeded a million, with the fifty thousand drow elves making up the bulk. Ten thousand more had been massacred by Fiona and the chromatic dragons as a warning to the remaining drow.
The rest were various monster clans that had flooded into the kingdom during the magical disaster. Muria had taken them all when he left the kingdom, leaving only a few behind to serve the metallic dragon nobles.
These monster clans were only good for providing labor or joining the punitive army Muria had formed to combat oceanic evil and plunder resources—incidentally, of course.
The only ones who could significantly impact the transformation of the cloud islands were the thousands of geniuses Muria had collected from the kingdom. But their abilities were somewhat insufficient for such top-tier engineering as floating cities.
Floating cities require a legendary mage to oversee the construction. Having blueprints and materials isn't enough. Talent is key. Given Muria's fledgling force, completing the floating city in a short time was impossible unless he could get a dozen or more legendary mages to work for him wholeheartedly, which was also impossible.
"These geniuses will need continuous investment and resources for their training." Muria sighed. He was practically penniless, having invested all his money into the cloud island transformation plan.
"I need to find ways to make money." Muria pondered, rubbing his chin. "Relying on robbery—uh, combating evil isn't a long-term solution. I need to find some profitable avenues and stable resource acquisition methods."
"Your Highness Muria, I think I can help you with this," Casio's voice reappeared in Muria's mind.
"Casio, what do you have in mind?" Muria was curious.
"I can connect you with the royal merchants of the Uranos Empire for trade."
"The Uranos Empire?" Muria raised an eyebrow. This wasn't the first time he'd heard this name. From the Abyss Lord Ulysses, he learned that this human empire had a significant connection with the Titan clan.
"What's the relationship between the Uranos Empire and the Titan clan?" He hadn't had the chance to ask in the Notia-O continent, but with his spirit, there was no need for restraint. If he didn't know, he would ask directly.
"The royal family of the Uranos Empire carries a trace of Titan bloodline. The founding emperor of this empire, like you, was a half-blood, although his innate conditions were inferior to yours. He was a hybrid of Titan and human."
"What?" Muria was stunned by this explosive news, followed by a feeling of incredulity. "No way, how could a Titan and a human produce offspring? That's impossible."
Leaving aside the likelihood of a Titan fancying a human, the difference in bloodline levels alone would make natural offspring impossible. Titans didn't have the same cross-species reproductive capabilities as dragons.
"The birth of the Uranos Empire's founding emperor was different from yours. He wasn't..." Casio's voice suddenly cut off abruptly, leaving the sentence unfinished.
"Huh?" Muria was puzzled. "Casio? What's wrong?"
"Apologies, Your Highness Muria. I've just received a gag order. You do not currently have the clearance to know information about the founding emperor of the Uranos Empire."
"How could that be?" Muria was taken aback.
"Based on my calculations, there's over a sixty percent chance that the distinguished individual sensed you trying to obtain his information, hence the gag order."
"What's his strength?"
"Epic."
"I see." Muria nodded. "As expected. Anyway, knowing that the Uranos Empire has a deep connection with the Titan clan is enough."
"Yes, you can safely trade with them."
