Chapter 475: Mental Imprint

A dazzling and massive teleportation beam tore through space, spanning vast distances, and struck the metal square specially made by Muria, in front of countless stunned creatures living on the floating island.

"Roar!" "Roar!" The deep growls of enormous beasts resounded, carrying an indescribable intimidation for lesser beings, though it had no effect on Muria.

"Blood Lion Demons, they look quite good!" Muria, maintaining his Dragon Titan form, looked at the seventeen large lions with blood-red fur and bone spurs, showing a satisfied smile.

"Down!" Muria frowned as he watched the seventeen Abyssal Hunters in front of him, some of which seemed eager to attack. He shouted in a commanding tone.

Seven of the Blood Lion Demons exchanged glances upon seeing Muria's enormous figure, capable of crushing them. They let out a sound resembling a meow and then obediently lay down on the nearly molten metal ground where the teleportation light had struck.

They remembered Muria's scent, and their minds were filled with memories of being dominated by him. Hearing Muria's familiar voice, they recalled their past fears.

But this was only a small portion. The remaining ten didn't make a sound and naturally spread out, forming a formation best suited to deal with Muria and the Storm Giants behind him.

"Interesting. After eating so many demon corpses, you've gained enough strength to challenge me?" Muria showed an enthusiastic expression as he saw the Blood Lion Demons, their bodies tensed and muscles bulging, ready to attack.

"How dare you! Just a few lowly demons, yet you dare to challenge His Highness Muria." The Storm Giant leader, Terence, was furious at the stance of the ten Blood Lion Demons. He drew his specially forged heavy sword, ready to act.

"Terence, stand down." Muria clenched his fists, a hint of intense battle spirit in his eyes. "I want to subdue these ten little lions myself. They will be my leverage when I disguise as a demon warlock to infiltrate the Synapse subcontinent."

"Understood." Reluctantly, Terence lowered his heavy sword and, with eleven other Storm Giants, stepped back, clearing the battlefield.

"Come on, kitties!" Muria's long, black hair fluttered in the wind as he faced the Blood Lion Demons in his most basic form. He had no intention of using the full Saint Yao Royal Abyss armor, only keeping the wings and tail pieces. He didn't want to rely on equipment to gain an advantage over these little lions.

"Roar!" As Muria provoked, two Blood Lion Demons, their strength bolstered by devouring demon corpses, leapt at him with their bloody mouths wide open.

"Bang!" Muria punched one of the Blood Lion Demons on the chin, producing a muffled thud and a faint sound of cracking bones. The massive body of the demon, akin to a small hill, spun in the air, performing a 720-degree flip before crashing to the ground.

"Swish!" As Muria dealt with the first demon, his thorny, diamond-tipped tail pierced another Blood Lion Demon, stabbing through its heart without resistance.

"Roar!" Seeing their kin suffer such a fate, the remaining eight Blood Lion Demons roared and charged at Muria together.

"Boom!" "Ow!" "Bang!"... Facing the onslaught of the eight Blood Lion Demons, Muria, brimming with battle spirit, didn't dodge or retreat. His lightning-wreathed fists struck the demons, and eight visible shockwaves spread out.

The battle ended within ten seconds. Under Muria's heavy blows, the Abyssal Hunters realized the absolute gap between them and Muria. They quickly made the right choice.

Rolling on the ground and exposing their soft bellies, they let out shameful mewling sounds. They knew this non-threatening sound would improve their treatment from the formidable being before them. They didn't mind sacrificing their demonic pride, as no other demons were watching.

"Smart move." Muria shook his head, somewhat dissatisfied, seeing the well-practiced submission of the battered but rapidly recovering Blood Lion Demons. He hadn't fully enjoyed the fight.

"You lot, move aside and lie down." Muria ordered the seven Blood Lion Demons lying on the cooling metal square, taunting their beaten kin.

"Cassio, are the rest ready? Send them over."

"They've been ready for a long time." Cassio's voice responded, and a more dazzling and massive teleportation beam struck in front of Muria. Scorching, evil energy spread, heating the air.

A group of humanoid demons wreathed in flames appeared before Muria. "After all these years, they've all evolved. Not bad."

When he first summoned demons, Muria kept a large number of Fire Demons to clean up corpses. The constant devouring of demon remains over the years allowed these originally low-ranking Fire Demons to break through their bloodline limits and evolve into higher-ranked Flame Demons with greater power.

"Submit or die." Muria spoke dominantly in the demon tongue, exuding an aura of authority as he faced the restless Flame Demons.

As Muria's voice echoed, the Blood Lion Demons, who had just acted like pet cats, stood up and surrounded the Flame Demons, exuding a chilling killing intent.

With the help of these Blood Lion Demons, who were trying hard to please Muria, the Flame Demons, who had surrendered once before, made the right choice a second time...

The subsequent events were straightforward. To be safe, Muria placed mental imprints on the seventeen Blood Lion Demons and the over a hundred Flame Demons of varying strengths, controlling their actions.

Before Muria was defeated or killed, these now-submissive demons would not betray him. Sometimes, demons from the Abyss had more integrity than humans.
