Violet: Give It Your All

Instead, Leo looked thoughtful, almost tender. "Ilse is lovely and I respect her beliefs of waiting until marriage. But men have needs, physical needs. So I'm doing what any man would do and having them met. Like here and now."

"Have you explained that to her? About your, uh, needs and how they're currently being met?"

"Of course not." Leo glared at her as if she'd said something ridiculous. "Why would she need to know? It's a different part of my life that has nothing to do with Ilse."

"I don't think she'd see it that way, my lord. Ilse wants a faithful man. Most women do." Violet couldn't believe how the prince justified his behaviour, acting as if some of his encounters with women could just be excused.

Leo's jaw jutted out stubbornly. He was obviously not enjoying the general direction of conversation. "She doesn't need to know and she's not going to know, because who's going to tell her? You?"
