Jardine, the Capital City (1)

"Hang in there, Lady… By the evening, we will arrive to the capital," Vincent comforted the half-dead woman as she was slowly turning crazy after spending three weeks in the carriage.

Due to limited space, they decided to take turns keeping her company. Unlike his built image, Seth was talking nonstop, but all the words that left his mouth were about magic. Luan, on the other hand, didn't speak much and only made sure that she was comfortable.

The best conversation partner seemed to be Gant but as the veteran knight who spent his whole life fighting demons and riding on horseback through the battlefield, he couldn't stand the closed space of the carriage and had to get out after an hour or so.

Then there was Vincent, who didn't lack politeness and intelligence, but as he spent his younger years in the countryside and then joined the army still young, he couldn't provide her with information about the society and the culture that she needed.
