The Eve Of The Ball (2)

"Mister, have you ever tried dressing for four hours?"

Arianell barely stepped into the carriage when she tiredly plopped onto the chair. It was a completely colourful nightmare with expensive fabrics, silk and lace floating around. Amalia did one thing, but then Fabio came and changed it to something else. She tried on dresses that had nothing to do with the ball, but no one listened to her complaints.

"I don't think there will ever be a need for me to try on so many clothes, milady," the coachman answered politely. They still had a jewellery store left but watching her near-desperate face, he decided to be quiet about it now.

"How about you take a rest at a nearby park and enjoy some fresh air? There shouldn't be many people right now…" he suggested.

"Don't we have another errand…?"

"…No, we are done for a day…"
