The council was the highest body that could directly influence the law in the kingdom. It started as the advisor position but has now transformed into the ruling organisation while the king mostly listened to the opinion of nobles.

"Did you see the chairs on the platform? Why are there three?" 

"Didn't you know? My son saw the princess Gloria yesterday at the park!"

"What?! She is back? But why announce it?"

The murmur in the room was loud as no one tried to hide their curiosity. The return of Her Highness was big news for those who had the ambition of connecting with the royal family once again smelled the opportunity.
