Your Tears Will Be Coloured Red (2)

Luan blinked several times to clear his vision which was getting blurred as he looked at the same spot for a long time. He was tired and his focus was weakening as more time passed. Sometimes, his mind was playing a trick on him, and the reality and dream were mixed together.

"Are you busy?" A familiar voice like a spring blossoming flower asked him.

He wondered whether the hallucination had gotten so bad that he was hearing sounds now, but he turned anyway. Even if it was fake, he still wished to delude himself for a moment.

"You don't look that good… Should I come back at another time?" The person asked him.

Realising that what he was seeing wasn't just his wishful thinking, Luan jumped to his feet and quickly opened the window.

"How did you get in?" He asked, his heart was pleasantly surprised.

"How?" Arianell smiled as she leaned against the window frame. "I walked in, of course… But did I interrupt your break?"
