Arianell focused on the black panther locked in the cage as she slowly raised her hand and put it against the iron bars. The beast gnashed its teeth and lowly growled but showed no further hostile behaviour. Despite its large size, she could tell it was still young since the citizens of Forest were bigger compared to ordinary animals.

"It's okay, I'm not here to hurt you…" They made eye contact, and the beast lowered its head as it tried to sniff her fingers. Realizing that the scent reminded him of home, the panther got even closer and purred as it nuzzled against her palm.
